Really great place to eat in Levenshhulme. Staff were really polite and friendly. Food was served quickly and really tasty. Will certainly come back here to try more things.
New favourite Italian just landed. Honestly, couldn't fault a thing. Ambience and service get high marks but the food is really what I expect anytime I walk into an Italian but rarely achieve. Simple, fresh dishes done to a very high standard. My hardest choice was what not to get but that can get rectified in the eventual next appearance I make. The Rustiche Mare (Prawn & Clam Pasta) is a game changer. 6 stars.
Our second visit and again, an absolutely fantastic evening! Superb food, all 3 courses were fantastic just like last time. The house red is brilliant too! The pasta and pizza were great and the ricotta cheesecake was to die for! So so good! Outdoor dinning was lovely in the courtyard. Already looking forward to going back again soon! Highly recommend, gluten free and vegan options available. Perfect for couples and families. It’s an absolute little gem!
We have been here a couple of times now and loved it. We came most recently for the Sunday roast. We arrived early and were kindly seated with menus in a nice area at the back of the restaurant until our table became available. Despite being busy the staff were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious with vegan options for me and my 2 year old daughter. :)
It's been a fantastic journey for the Cibus team, and their Levenshulme restaurant strides out ahead of the pack, offering a sophisticated dining experience. The first notable point is how much this doesn't feel like a Levenshulme location but more aligned with Manchester dining venues. The lighting is low and creates an intimate atmosphere, heightened by the proximity to other diners, which some may feel a bit too close but you've got to pack them in - on the 2 occasions I've visited both have been packed! The food is as perfect as you'd expect. The ingredients are carefully selected to offer a taste that doesn't hit you over the head, instead offering subtle flavours. Pair this with a carefully curated selection of wines and beers and you've got a great night guaranteed. If you have room I'd definitely recommend having the Pistachio ice cream to finish - the best I've tasted this side of the North Sea.
Have been meaning to try this place for a while and was not disappointed.The braised lamb Sunday Roast with cauliflower cheese side was prefect! Real nice selection of Italian craft beers too and staff were super friendly. Need to ho back and try everything now but will definitely be a regular Sunday Lunch destination!
