Absolutely fantastic people in Athena, food is always so fresh and well made and presented. They are always so cheerful and polite, the place is spotless....you will not be disappointed , keep up the good work ...top place to visit!!
Sadly this place has gone down-hill. Ordered a chicken kebab on naan which was mostly salad and then at the bottom only had 3 pieces of chicken, they forgot the pitta for the falafel and halloumi, and a ‘large’ chips is actually quite a small portion. It’s a shame because the food has always been tasty here.
After receiving a flier through the door I ordered off their website the mixed grill kebab and large fries and a garlic bread . Order had loads of 10% discounts so the kebab and chips were 19quid the flier stated the kebab was 19 quid on its own. So estimated delivery was 7pm 1 hr from ordering. Arrived by 6.20 on a sat night . The kebab naan is basically a wrap the thickness of a pitta bread the meats were tasty and nice the donner meat was small thin slices the hot sauce was the 1 with pips in crucials a quid a bottle. Chips were hot no salt on em skin on fries . All food was good quality . It is a bit pricy but it's good grub. Dogs were hovering so it must be good stuff
Just had chicken pita gyros, skin on fries and hallomi wow. Absolutely delicious, all piping hot, salad was fresh and crisp. Cheers guys was lovely
Right so I always wanted to go here just because it's got great reviews and people keep boosting it's the best place to get kebabs in Stockport. To see if it is true I had ordered a mixed grill which is a mix of chicken,lamb,gyros,Donner and grilled halloumi sauce. Well i just saw haven with each bite, not kidding it was absolutely beautiful. The flavour for the Donner meat was the only one that shut the door. Quantity wise there is a lot, it's more like a 2 person meal. Highly recommended. Athens could have added chips along with it as well just because of the price.
Amazing food every time. I have never had a bad meal from here. Delivery driver is very friendly, it is definitely worth the wait 5* food absolutely love it and can’t wait for the next time. High professional service with delicious food, can’t ask for more!
Heard of this takeaway through word of mouth, honestly the customer service was excellent. Food was served very quickly and looked very tasty! The best takeaway in the area with one of a kind pizzas. Highly recommend!
We have been ordering from here most weekends for the last 2 year's. Flippin great food, the freshest and tastiest donner meat. At first we were placing phone orders and a couple of times they got it wrong, now we are odering online and spot on!!! Superb 10/10

I absolutely love Athena! They have really fresh greek and cypriot food. They can get extremely busy so be patient. They have a good variety of food to offer, including pizza, kebab, salad, burgers, chips etc. My personal favourites are the mixed kebab and the Athena special! Check the burger out below! I have both ordered and been inside the shop. And I can tell you they get very busy. Which shows the quality of food on offer. The community speak with their custom. I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do!
