I am a pizza expert and travelled to many independent restaurants and takeaways from the northwest to London and even brooklyn in new york to gain extensive knowledge in being able to give real opinions to potential future customers. To my surprise this place popped up a few years ago and I have it a try. The presentation of the pizza looks ok until you take a bite. I have to say firstly the dough has zero taste and the sauce has approx 10% taste to the point that it has no taste at all and the cheese has only approx 10% which means what are you making as its not a pizza but merely bread without any taste at all. My taste buds are extremely sensitive to taste and there is nothing in the bite at all. The pizza is tasteless and no pride has gone into any of the ingredients at all. I give this pizza place 1 out of 10 for taste and if they don't improve this hugely distasteful pizza then I have to say their business will not survive at all and close it's doors in the future as you can't make such an icon and be flat lined in taste. Please do not waste your money with this place it needs a conaseur of pizza experts to give a brutal honest feedback in giving them the necessary tools to either improve your ingredients and further research the market or get out and do something else with your future career as it's clear you don't have a passion for pizza

We've ordered from here multiple times, but the pasta is swimming in cream, there are only two small pieces of meat, and the whole dish is tasteless. The person who prepared it clearly doesn't care about the quality of the food they serve. As far as I know, Donatello in town is the same company, yet they manage to make the same pasta taste good. This place is a jokeβwhy don't they hire a "chef" who actually knows at least a little about cooking? Even a two-year-old could cook better.

First time ordering from here and itβs by far the worst food I have ever ordered. Pasta was really undercooked and as you can see from the sauce, there was barely any. Β£20 to go straight in the bin. Lovely delivery driver but will definitely not be ordering again.

Recently ordered after reading the reviews. I am most dissapointed. The food arrived fairly cold so I had to use the microwave which was a huge minus. The mushrooms were NOT fresh ones and definitely the worst I had so far and so outbalanced in size and quantity. The sauce was sour which was very unexpected. For all this no stars as I had to scrape the non-edible ingredients off the crust. All I paid for was the crust which was amazing, but considering that nothing else was worth a penny, that was a huge price to pay for some flour and water. Very dissapointed so next time I will only use the reviews that have pictures attached as looking them again before writing this review, I realised I would not have ordered many options that were described as being good.

Me and my partner order from here every few weeks when she visits, when it first opened we both agreed the carbonara was the best we've had, but last 2 or 3 orders the carbonara has been very oily and flavour has been lacking, we are disappointed as it was our favourite dish, however we don't want this review to come across as criticism, more just feedback for the owners/chefs as other orders have still been very good, we will 100% be returning in the future, but unfortunately we wont be ordering the carbonara anymore.

Excellent Italian style pizza and lasagne. Really well priced not greasy or heavy, a real gem for the town in an accessible location.

Authentic wood fired pizzas from a local takeaway, what more could you ask for. Really good quality pizzas and each time I've had them they've tasted wonderful. These are not "normal" takeaway pizzas they're freshly hand stretched dough with fresh ingredients and cooked in a traditional oven as opposed to bread cooked on one of those glorified home ovens you get everywhere else. Definitely worth a visit to try some of their offerings.

Just had the Calzone-DIAVOLA & Garlic Bread-Picant. Fresh base pizza. Rather impressed.
