   Exceptionally well run restaurant. Cool, calm and efficient, even when a big event is on at the next door First Direct Arena. Mark on front of house and Olivia on table service were absolutely superb. On the mark in every respect. 5-stars for them both! Well done to the chefs also, food was spot on. We really enjoyed our visit and will be back again next time we’re in town.

   If I could give this establishment no score or stars I would. To say we were disappointed would be a massive understatement. We decided to eat at this location as we were attending Leeds Arena for a gig, this is somewhere we hsve eaten before when attending the arena, as its only a few minute walk away, and is a name and brand which customers 'should' be able to trust and rely on. We arrived a good hour and half before we needed to be at the Arena, thinking this would be enough time to grab a quick bite to eat. But oh no, how wrong were we. We ordered food and drinks, dough balls to start and a pizza each, nothing fancy, nothing off menu just standard menu items. The starter arrived fairly promptly, along with our drinks, and then that was pretty much it. We didn't see our server again, not to clean our starters away, check if everything was OK, or even ask if we wanted more drinks. I'd visited the toilet and noticed 2 pizzas sitting on boards ready to be served, ironically the same flavours we'd order, but nothing arrived, so couldn't be ours. It was now a good 40 minutes after we'd finished our starter and ran out of liquid. During this waiting period, I watched as other customers were seated, getting their food whilst we sat there with empty plates and dry drinks. Unable to get any staffs attentions, I walked over to a manger and asked how long our food would be, as we needed to be in the arena in 15 minutes. This manager and another staff member seemed to be solely concentrating on the delivery orders, which seemed to be taking primacy over seated customers. He, fairly rudely told be to wait s few minutes, I dont actually think he was been specifically rude to me, but the circumstances he found himself in. Either way, it wasnt very polite. Further more, I noticed the same 2 pizzas I'd seen some 10 to 15 minutes earlier were both still on the counter having not moved. At last we managed to track down our server, only because she was dealing with a neighbouring table, she said she'd put a rush on it. Almost instantly after this interaction the server helping the manager with the delivery orders brought our pizzas over, placing them down and finally removing our empty plates. Almost immediately I noticed my pizza was stone cold, so was my wife's, those pizzas which had been sat there for at least 15 minutes must have been ours. We told the staff member that the food was cold and inedible, no offer of remaking the food was offered, not that we had time at this point, but as an offer of good faith she removed the inedible pizzas off our bill. I immediately paid the bill, minus the 2 uneaten inedible pizzas, which was tje very least they could do. I know PizzaExpress isnt a Michelin starred restaurant, nor is it fast food. But at the sametime, I wasnt expecting it to be this poor, I would expect to be able to get an edible pizza within an hour and half at the very least. Overall the customer service was none existent, serving cold food long after it should have been served is not acceptable. I appreciate that the store maybe be busy with delivery orders, but this should not be at the detriment to seated customers, as it appeared in this case. Won't be eating here anytime soon.

   I had a good experience at pizza express Leeds arena, the pizza was perfectly seasoned with just the right balance of saltiness. I especially enjoyed a soft and chewy texture of the pizza base. A special thank you to mark for his attentive service, which made our visit even more enjoyable, highly recommended.

   Very nice place basically in the city centre. The food was great. They offer options between thick and thin dough. If you choose thick the size of the pizza is a bit smaller so do not be surprised. The service was amazing. Colby was very nice and helpful!

   An ideal place for an eleven year old's birthday party. The staff were very friendly and made our experience. The table, which we reserved in advance, was adorned with balloons and the activities on the children's menu kept the birthday guests quiet while waiting for their birthday tea. The food is tasty too. The children loved their visit to Pizza Express, which was topped off by a surprise chocolate fudge cake with candles on top. A special mention for Chloe, who is the epitome of good customer service. Chloe's good humour and attentiveness made us feel very welcome and saved us 10% on our parking charges.

   Crowded on weekend nights. Great service and friendly staff. We ordered some pastas , both the classic and romano pizza. The garlic prawn pizza tastes alright and the lasagne was great, would like to try the funghi pizza next time.
