Me & my partner absolutely love mozza and it is THE best pizza near us! The pizzas are always 10/10 cooked to perfection and taste amazing! The staff are so friendly and helpful, a really lovely experience with amazing food
Mozza almost scraped a 5* from me for their Pizza alone, however thinking on it a little, the 4* feels more fair. We were seated quite quickly during the Christmas week rush at the White Rose Shopping centre, shown to our table and menus delivered, our order was placed in around 10 minutes from arrival. I chose a Number 5 from the pizza menu, sporting Fior Di Latte Mozzarella, N'duja, salami and cracked black pepper, it should have been on the spicier side of the menu. Food arrived promptly and looked the business, the pizza was cooked perfectly with pockets of char that added additional flavour to the meal. The salami with black pepper gave a slightly spiced edge to the meat, being warm and deep in both texture and taste. Fior Di Latte Mozzarella adds a cute squishy taste to bites where the cheese has been distributed thicker which adds further texture to the pizza, the two big successes of this pizza. What drops it from a 5 to a 4 for me was the red sauce which was on the watery side, lacking a seasoning of either salt or pepper to deepen it's flavour and the fact that the N'duja was lost in the red sea of sauce that came with the pizza. I couldn't really taste any spice at all which put a bit of a bummer on the meal. Bite for bite however, the flavours on show blended well and were satisfying throughout, I would definitely return again to try the pizza on another occasion as make no mistake, it was thoroughly enjoyed. N'duja is one of those things I've found is either done really well or wasted and on this occasion, it just happened to be the latter. 4 stars drops through for service as the wrong drink was brought for one of my friends who ate with us, however this was remedied quickly and the manager was incredibly polite, friendly and professional. Would we return? Hell yes. For value, you get what you pay for, if not more. Mozza gets a thumbs up from me.
Very good pizza and surprisingly well priced. I would recommend it. They got 4 stars rather than 5 for service as they gave me the wrong pizza, but it was ok. The one I ended up with was very good. The menu looks as if it's been designed by a crazy person and the combination of a terrible design and teeny tiny print makes is pretty much unreadable to anyone above 30. Take your readers.
Wonderful pizza, was not disappointed with number 5 and would have it again. Server extremely friendly and chipper, nice atmosphere. The negroni was made properly to spec. Would recommend!
If anyone has walked past this place thinking "oh that use to be a Pizza Express" and carry on walking as "There ain't even prices on the menu" like I did. STOP - This place is amazing and so cheap with such an amazing "authentic in a profit making way" feel and I don't mean that in a bad way at all, more an authentic feel. No rush, so welcomed and just a great meal out. There will definitely be another date night here. Keep up the great work to all the crew.
Visited on Tuesday and was really pleasantly surprised. Great service, really reasonably priced and, above all, absolutely delicious pizzas! Authentic ingredients and they’re prepared in front of you by a very hard working chef.
