I had the seafood here and it was absolutely delicious! Fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. A wonderful dining experience I’d happily repeat

Everything was beautifully cooked and fresh.. Was very busy by 7pm so definitely recommend booking. Had a selection of alcohol free beer and wine too...

Had to go a little out of my way to get to this one but my it was worth it. All the food we had was really excellent and the prices for fresh seafood make it a real winner. Had to take a 2nd look at the bill when it came as I was sure they had missed something off. If you were on the fence, it's time to come down and give it a try. 6 stars.

A lovely spot for a special night out or just to eat some fab seafood! Service was great, friendly and helpful. It has a cosy, local vibe. The standout dish was the hake when crispy leeks, the bisque was unctious or bangin' (as the kids say). The steak was well received and cooked to order. The platter was a great way to start things, usually I find squid rubbery in places but here it was perfect with a zingy batter. We left sated.

What a great venue, well worth a drive! Fresh produce, generous portions of starters and all fish and seafood cooked spot on. Chilli prawn risotto is a must, better than the ones I've had in Italy. Mussels in moreish sauce and delicious catch of the day. The lady at the front has a great banter and it was a pleasure to have a chat after the meal. Definitely coming back!!

Absolutley stunning. Large starters nice wine. Amazing mains that are cooked to perfection. Had the John Dory and the Tuna steak. Absolutely unreal. Want to adopt the chef

Very nice food and a lovely restaurant. All the staff were great and very accommodating. Our only downsides were we sat downstairs and it was abit cold from the front door. Maybe a porch would stop this. Also it is on the expensive side for where it is. Nice for a special occasion but not for a normal weekend treat

Fantastic local restaurant, staff are helpful. They explained the menu and the specials clearly, and answered all our questions. Great selection of fresh ingredients. Had the catch of the day, Brill, was perfectly cooked. Portion sizes were great. Extensive wine selection

I do not recommend. Unfortunately we started the evening with a waitress who didn't know the menu because she claimed the menu was new for her, she couldn't be bothered asking her manager either. The Calamari was soggy and full of dripping oil. The King Prawn was oily and smelling of old fish. The Whitby Dressed Crab was extremely frozen, no way fresh, and mixed with a pate and flavour crab sticks. The samphire grass and cherry tomatoes was horrible and tasteless, some ingredients were hot and some of them were cold. My friend had a bloody/pink pork steak. I am very very disappointed in this restaurant as it cost just under £200 for 4 people.
