⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐ 5/5 I recently visited Sakura Japanese Restaurant, and it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a calm, elegant atmosphere that immediately set the tone for a memorable meal. The food was exceptional — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic Japanese flavours. Every dish tasted like it was prepared with genuine care and attention. The sushi was incredibly fresh, the hot dishes were perfectly seasoned, and the overall quality was truly top-tier. The staff were equally impressive: friendly, attentive, and always ready to help without ever being intrusive. Their warm hospitality really elevated the experience. To top it all off, the presence of Santa during the visit added a magical and festive touch. It made the evening feel even more special and created a joyful atmosphere for everyone dining. Overall, Sakura delivered a perfect dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys high-quality Japanese cuisine and excellent service. I’ll definitely be returning

Enjoyable family meal, lots of choice, and fun service with the little robot cats. Went Saturday 3pm and it was nice, not too busy. Would go again

Fresh sushi, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. The rolls are well-made and delicious, and the tempura is perfectly light and crispy. Everything feels carefully prepared. A great spot for anyone craving quality Japanese food. I’ll definitely be back!

Service and atmosphere was great!! The waiter really did go all out for us, and of course the robots were super super fun and rather unique - a novelty. Unfortunately the food is a massive massive let down, a selection of what seems to be cheap quality meats and freezer fritters. The flavour of a lot of the food was not something to write home about. The food didn’t ruin the experience but it left a LOT to be desired. Could be a lot tastier, especially with the fact they have the novelty of the robots. The cakes in the desert bar was scrumptious. The venue is great for kids who are fussy about food as most of it as fried and simple. With select dishes for a more adult palate. I wouldn’t recommend it for a date night. Notable dishes: anything chicken based was good - especially the Korean mayo chicken bao Don’t recommend: the soups and noodles weren’t very nice, the oyster dishes were a big no from us At a price tag of £30 a head, the food could be very much improved! The staff are nice and the robots are cool!

I wouldn’t recommend this place. Very dirty. After you order, there’s count down up to 600 minutes. The food was a joke. The powder mixed wasabi was dried and it tastes nothing like wasabi. The food wasn’t fresh, it is dangerous when you eat sea food which isn’t fresh. The noodle was not edible. I refused to pay service charge and it left me with 63 pounds something included a bottle of water. I do not recommend spending this much on restaurant like this. I would not recommend spending a penny here. Very disappointed.

Cannot fault this place at all. The manager welcomed us very happily into the restaurant and we were promptly assorted to our table which had plenty of space for our baby who was in a pram! This is always nice when they consider where they place you (not in the way). The tablet ordering system is very well established and the food and drink is delivered very quickly and amazingly now with robot servers with cat faces on the screens..this adds to the overall experience. The food (mainly sushi) was very very tasty! We have been before years ago but it seems to have improve since then. More taste and options for sushi. The crunchy rolls were great :D Now it was a pre-celebration for our wedding and they played a congratulations song on the system and brought out a cute little plate with a piece of dessert with a candle and a congratulations written on the plate. It's not the cheapest place to go and some of the staff are pretty miserable (not the bar man or manager) just the staff who clear tables and bring some of the food items. To also add a compulsory service charge when this is the case does leave a little bit of a sour taste in your mouth. But saying all this our experience was on the most part great and we will return soon.

I came here with a friend and was highly impressed overall. So it is a buffet, however you stay seated and order food from the tablet…its definitely a different concept. The food was actually delicious and exceeded my expectations! And there is so much variety too, I was spoiled for choice. There is a small dessert station also, so you don’t have to order from the tablet for it. The wait time isn’t long and the servers are friendly. Minus one star because I thought £28.99 is quite expensive and the drinks aren’t included either.

Amazing experience! Has robot as waiters! Food was tasty! It’s a buffet so you can order as much as you can eat with a wide selection of choices on the menu. Sadly you have to pay extra for sashimi dishes. Has a very nice dessert bar. Good service and the venue was nice and spacious with a massive car park outside! Also an instagrammable place :) Highly recommended and would definitely come back again!

Been here several times but tonight probs the best in terms of food quality. Service was ok, most staff pretty miserable despite the 10% service charge added on. The sushi is not amazing quality but enjoyable. Was very busy tonight with a violinist playing which was a nice touch. The decor is wonderful but its not suitable for the disabled as the toilets are upstairs with no lift.
