I just had ordered a whole chicken with fries and drink.. the chicken quality is okay.. but what ticked me off is that they say whole chicken.. but they gave a chicken with no wings.. anywhere else I order a whole chicken, it’s complete with wings.. so they should just say it’s not whole. A family member loves wings and they were disappointed.
Firstly the food was horrible, secondly the guy coughed on the wings. One of the worst takeaway shop I’ve ever been to, it’s not even one of the worst, it’s the worst. I couldn’t even finish the meal
Disappointed with our recent experience. The fries we received were very dry and clearly tasted like they had been refried — not fresh at all. My children get fries from here regularly, so we know the usual quality. When we raised our concern, we were told that if we ‘keep them that long, they’ll be dry,’ which felt dismissive rather than helpful. Rude staff. Refused to refund only after an argument he gave me a partial refund with no apology. Burnt pizza, the staff tried convincing me this is the art of pizza.
I mention in all my review that I am not an avid reviewer unless I feel it needs addressing. I ordered two 9” pizza which turned out to be like the size of a pound pizza, chips were soggy and ruined by condensation. The cheesy chips were like having cardboard, it was disposed of in the trash after my second bite. The grilled wings were not fresh and definitely not marinated or seasoned well. With me included both my kids suffered upset stomach which I find disgraceful from a food shop in this day in age where restaurants and takeaway are competing for quality of taste. I will never order from this place again. I’d rather order a double pepperoni from Manjaros and happy pay extra because I know the quality, size, preparation is second best to no one. Lesson learned from me, be it a warning to all you customer ordering from this place.
ordered meat morris pizza and the meat was soo burnt and stale. it was obvious that they reheated old meat and put it in the pizza it was not fresh. not ordering from here again
I placed an order on the 1st of Jan 2023, but my order never arrived despite the fact that when i called the employee told me the rider is on the way and gave me his number. When i called the driver he said hes delivering other orders and my order wasnt one of them. I called the restaurant again and they told me exactly this “ there are 2 more drivers we dont know which one has your order “ and hung up. After 2 hours I called again and they said that they are cancelling my order and i will be able to receive a refund. I contacted deliveroo to inform them about the matter. They said when the restaurant emails them about the refund, they’ll give me my money back. My order status was set in delivered despite the fact that it wasnt. Today, the 3rd of Jan, I received an email from deliveroo saying you “decline my refund”. I called the restaurant to check on happened and why did they decline. The person I spoke to was very rude and he said that he couldnt speak english and hung up the phone after I told him about the issue. I called a few minutes later and asked to speak to someone else and he told me “ to stop calling “ and hung up the phone again. At this point im really disappointed and mad of how unprofessional and rude the employees are towards customers. I am also disappointed of how my issue was held and managed. I ask again to receive my money back. I paid for something that i never received.
If you crave spice, this is the place to go to! Recently I’ve been let down to a great extent when it comes to spicy food. The Bangladeshi Naga is the world most spiciest natural grown (non modified) spice in the world. A lot of places in east London sell Naga wings... well they claim to anyway. But it seems as though all the places have reduced their spice levels together like it’s been regulated by the government! I’ve never had a spicy pizza and decided to come here as my mates were talking about it, and boy was I satisfied! Their muddy fries was amazing too! Place was clean and customer service was on point too. Just typing this reviews is making my mouth water, which means I will be visiting real soon again!
Used to be really good when they first opened. Maybe even my fav take-away place. Think they've started getting tired/complacent. Their Burito is nice, but was better a while back. Don't order it anymore. I sometimes eat in, sometimes get delivery. Once I ordered delivery of pizza, the driver must have held it sideways throughout, as all the toppings flew off! Small mistake I guess.. but.. I want the old Big Mama's back! Staff are friendly :) 4* as they can be good, I hope they go back to being even better!
