   We were here for my daughter’s pizza making birthday party. Although there were some issues with finalising the details prior to the party, on the day of the party itself, my daughter and her classmates all enjoyed the experience thoroughly. Each child received a starter, their own designed pizza and dessert. The party was mainly managed by Julianna who was a great host in making sure everything went through smoothly without it feeling rushed.

   Shocking experience. We were ignored by 3 members of staff while waiting to be seated, and after finally being shown to a table, we had to ask to place our order after sitting for ten minutes. No knife and forks on the table, again had to ask and my son’s meal was completely forgotten, meaning we had to wait even longer to eat together as a family. The manager on duty, “G”, showed no people skills whatsoever, when I raised my concerns, she didn’t respond let alone offer any apology. We will not be returning.

   Terrible experience. We arrived an hour before closing as a party of two and were left standing at the entrance for at least 10 minutes with no acknowledgment. Several staff members walked past us without saying a word, and others just stared, making the situation quite uncomfortable. When someone finally approached, we were told they were closing soon and couldn’t seat us. With a full hour left before closing, this level of service is completely unacceptable.

   Absolutely disgusted!!! The service was horrible we came an hour before close not all was going to eat of a group of 6 and the staff looked so miserable and made it obvious they didn’t want to serve us. It’s absolutely sickening to have service like this, a staff member talking to another colleague making faces and looking at their watch indicating the time is too late. It’s a food service the shop closes at 9:00 you are expected to make customers feel welcomed yet we were left feeling like a burden! Completely ridiculous should be embarrassed. Strongly suggest to not come here unless the staff changes!!! The mangers need to look into their staff performance and monitor their behaviour. So disgusting

   Me and my partner came here because we had a gift voucher for pizza express. The food was good but the first problem was there were fly's all around us. I have added a picture of a fly on my partners drink. When we went to pay we told them we was going to use a gift card what was fine. After 5 minutes or so the server came back saying the card wasn't working and he was going to get a manager. The manager told us gift cards ain't working since the morning. I told them no one had told us about gift cards not being able to be used and there is no signs. If they had known since the morning why not let people know. Other restaurants in lakeside always have signs up if there is problems with payment or food missing from the menu. If we couldn't use the vouchers then we would have gone somewhere else. What would of happened if we didn't have any other form of payment on us ? Really poor from the management. They said we could complain to head office and get a voucher as compensation... What's the point of getting another voucher, I already have one. Won't be coming back here. Shocking.

   Hadn't been to Pizza Express for a while so wasn't sure what to expect. I took my parents and we were pleasantly surprised as our pizzas were fantastic. Service was a little slow but the dough balls tied us over just about. We were put in the kids area so the wall had been drawn on (not the chalk wall) so we kinda felt stuck out of the way.

   Starters were great. We had dough balls and garlic bread. However, the pizza was more sauce and very little cheese. They were quite busy. But they could have been a bit quicker with more staff, in my opinion.

   Staff, amazing and friendly. Answered all our questioned with a positive attitude. Was around 4pm and wasn't too busy. For me the let down was the food felt ABIT bland. But overall would recommend.

   Life saver for us today . We were straggling to get place for 7 of us without booking from downstage to food court top floor everywhere. We got space and serv8ce was fast but u fortunately the dobboule Co.e.with hair and we had to return . Its a shame while incase writi g 5 stars review I had to change the review .
