Asked for camembert on pizza special which they didnβt offer on the menu but the chef said theyβd do it for me, was very lovely. Also lovely staff too, great atmosphere, had a lovely time :)

Food was a bit mixed, couple of nice starters, one nice main, but rest were meh, with pasta overcooked and sauce a little on the thin side. Some of the staff were great, having to deal with a very lairy group of lasses (we did get wrong drinks sent out by bar staff, but server apologised and sorted quickly) A chain is never going to be great, but food didn't seem up to when we last went a couple of years ago, but prices have risen.

Alas this restaurant has changed in the quality of the food. I visited this place once and liked it and now I decided to visit it again. Unfortunately, the food disappointed me. For Β£75, for 2 persons I ordered 2 salads, 1 ciabata, 2 lasagne and 2 drinks. Well, the salad from the word go was absolutely nothing. Just sliced tomatoes and didn't even remove the back of the tomatoes, just sliced mozzarella cheese and put coriander on top and drizzled with oil. No flavour, no smell. The tomatoes are rubbery, tasteless and the dish costs Β£16 for a second. Ciabatta. I don't know what it is at all. The chef decided to just cut 2 pieces of bread without frying it and just poured oil on top and threw on diced tomatoes and onions. Unleavened, no salt and no flavour. The bread had no flavour at all. It was not crispy and toasted and the amount for this very "tasty" dish took a decent amount, also about 16 pounds. Lasagne. Well, it is still more or less tasty, but again, very liquid dish. Too much gravy. I've had real Italian lasagne so I can compare. The drinks, of course, leave a lot to be desired. The mojito had a lot of ice and 1 slice of Lime and 1 small bunch of mint. Really? The most basic drink and alas, it was sad to drink. The second drink my wife didn't even finish it as it was just tasteless. Apart from the bright red colour, there's nothing interesting about it. No taste, no smell. Very disappointed with this restaurant. After the restaurant I went with my wife to Starbucks where they were able to drink a tasty drink and eat a tasty bun. In general, I would not recommend this restaurant. Spending such a sum of money for absolutely not tasty food is not just no sense, but even no desire to

Walked in at 530 today and got a table no problem. We were told there would be a half hour wait as we went in but we didn't wait that long and received excellent service from our server Stacey. She was rushing around all of the time we were there with a smile on her face and taking orders serving clearing etc as was the other young woman working too. The food was lovely too we will definitely return

Won't be returning that's for sure. The chicken milanese was bone dry & tasteless & the rocket salad that came with it was worse. The rocket was black, mushy & going off, at first I thought it might be from being on a hot plate, but the plate was cold. There wasn't a single fresh leaf in it, just mush. My wife's salad was the same too which was with a different main course she'd ordered. My sons pizza was like cardboard & very overcooked. All slapped together like a very poor fast food restaurant but worse. Very poor at best.

Pleasant restaurant quiet when we ate but it was early. Menu a bit limited but enough to choose something from. There's a 2 Course Set Menu for Β£14.95 and a 3 Course Set Menu for Β£17.95 as well as the normal Menu, served by pleasant, polite and attentive staff. We'd gone as an early birthday treat for my wife, I mentioned this at the time of ordering the pre meal drinks but got little or no response which was a bit disappointing.

Popped in here to try the tiramisu and starter, the starter was a black truffle gnocchi. Both were great, quick and friendly service. Quality was what I expected of this chain. Very good service from my server Amalia, very fast polite and asked me straight away about any allergies. Black coffee was a little bitter though.

Hadn't planned to visit Bella Italia was a last minute decision after my sons football game got cancelled. Food was amazing and Ceres is an amazing member of staff. She regularly checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our food and engaged in conversation with us, very polite and made us feel very comfortable. If you asked me to name a fault with Bella Italia I'd say not a chance. We will definitely be coming back again soon!!! Thank you Ceres and the rest of the staff for a wonderful experience. See you all again soon.
