had lunch at Itsu today. Unfortunately, it wasn't what I expected. All the food is pre-packaged and microwaved. A real shame for a Japanese restaurant, as I assumed everything was freshly made on-site. The edamame was served cold, frozen to boot. I've never eaten frozen edamame in my life. Of course, I returned it, and hopefully, I'll get a refund. I ordered mochi, which was also inedible. I won't be returning here again or ever again. I'm giving them a 4.

This place looked lovely but was very quiet for a Friday night and we soon found out why. Pictures on the menu looked tasty but what we got was small potions, dry and tasteless and not value for money . Kokomro and Wagamamas are 100 times better. Staff were young and friendly though.

I have been coming to Itsu for the last 4+ years and I can honestly say itβs always been a great experience, but more recently itβs gone another level and thanks to one person. Long (general manager) I have seen Long work from behind the kitchen serving food, upstairs transferring food and cleaning the floors or putting the chairs outside. Heβs a credit of someone who has lived it and breathed it all and no matter what role he has always had an infectious smile that makes customers feel nothing but loved and welcome. It creates such a great atmosphere and Itsu should be extremely proud of the employee they have now proudly leading the shop. Good for you Long, never lose your way and keep smiling. The only thing I think Itsu need to investigate a little further is exploring improving by any means the internet connection as I do see on a regular basis this leads to frustration where customers walk out as they cannot connect to their app. First impressions count and when they cannot connect to their app the reputation of the shop is already on the back foot. And subsequently no matter how good the staff and food is if it starts on that foot itβs hard to claw back some customers from their frustration. Other than that keep smashing it Itsu (and In particular LONG!) Regards, Dan

On our way home from our short break holiday in Somerset. Thought weβd eat at our favourite quick food restaurant in Woking. Our first and last visit. We really like the Thai stir fry, itβs changed to Thai noodles. We were promised the only thing that changed was the name. Unfortunately, it wasnβt as tasty. It was dry, not much sauce and the portion was smaller.

Wow! Amazing!, had the chicken gyoza noddle bowl. All the time I've been eating crapy food at a high price then come here and find amazing healthy food and very inexpensive. Next day ordered the chicken teriyaki very good as well, today had a sushi box lovely. Definitely be back in 5*

This isnβt a review for the food but for the LOVELY staff member who was so caring when I came over unwell outside the restaurant this evening. I was in a lot of pain and sat down on the seats outside waiting for a lift home. Despite the restaurant being closed, he brought my friend and I inside and insisted on bringing us warm water. I just wanted to say thank you as he helped me so much in a moment of need. Iβm sure he must be an asset to his team!

We visited this place for the first time today and really had our hopes high as the menu and restaurant look very decent. I really like the decor, cleanliness and staff was nice and polite. However, the food was not to our taste, and we left most of it. It does seem like it's a healthy option for lunch if that's what you are looking for. It wasn't terrible but unfortunately we didn't like it.

We've eaten here 4 times since it opened. The venue is actually quite pleasant with stools, booths and tables. However, having now tried several different dishes, the food is not very good. The giveaway is that it takes about 60 seconds to be served from completing the order. Items are all prepackaged, and either hot broth is added or they are microwaved. The rice dishes are often missing flavour, with far too many partially cooked soya beans. The noodle soups are very salty, and the sushi was very basic with a supermarket taste due to being stored in the packaging a long time. The bao buns tasted of plastic for the same reason. We paid Β£27 for 2 mains, a miso soup, bao buns and a rice side. Finally, the volume of plastic and packaging material is totally unacceptable for eating in the venue. The pictures in the menu show proper bowls, but you are served in takeaway packaging which creates a large amount of waste and reduces the quality of the experience. If they showed the paper bowls in the menu, they would probably sell less food. There are multiple options for Asian food in Woking and elsewhere, and the price, experience and taste isn't good enough to stand out at Itsu.

First time at this branch. We had chicken noodle soup, sushi and a rice bowl-all really nice, fresh and healthy (bonus!). Some items a bit on the high side, price wise for lunch but worth it for a treat!
