Overall, I had a good experience at Itsu, Ealing Broadway. The food is fresh, tasty, and healthy — great Japanese options for a quick meal. However, some staff members seemed a bit careless and not very attentive. Still, it’s a nice place with quality food and a pleasant atmosphere.

Honestly i’m shocked. This has never happened to me and it’s ridiculous. On saturday 18th of october, me, my dad and my sister go itsu, like we do every Saturday and we have been for about 3-4years which shows how loyal we are. First the food was not tasty at all and the portions have decreased significantly and the prices have increased but we still stayed a loyal customer ? How weird. As we were paying, all three men were staring at us and i could tell they were checking if we were actually paying and we were?! We asked them and then Nicole (my Dad asked her name) , behind the counter, decided to jump in this conversation, that wasn’t even INVOLVING her but she just decided to start talking rude. She started being extremely passive aggressive making up lies, yelling at us , saying she’s seen us steal boxes of food, then when my Dad asked her what’s going on, then CHANGED the story and said she’s never seen us steal and seen others steal so why stare at us, even though there are many others in the place? even though we just asked a simple question, which was why do you keep staring at us like that even during finishing our food? And she didn’t even try to hide it!! i’m 13 years old and it’s honestly shocking what i saw that day. Nicole started violently swearing, to my dad AND me and my sister. she said she doesn’t care and she is not scared, She said to my sister “I bet i’m younger than you” and said “your older than my father” to my dad, and said some extremely rude things to me i’m not even going to say here because it’s honestly crazy and embarrassing for her. We were harassed, at a place we are extremely loyal to which is ridiculous and she did in fact put the middle finger up at me specifically as we were leaving and swearing at us, which we couldn’t hear as we were outside. God knows WHAT she said. None of us actually swore once or used any sort of bad language and SHE resorted to doing that INSTANTLY which shows her immaturity when it comes to handling situations like these, God knows what she’s said to other people. Someone SO UNPROFESSIONAL like this should not be allowed to work here, let alone a chef because you never know what she could be doing with the food. We felt extremely offended, and as we were talking in our native language she kept saying “PARDON? EXCUSE ME? IS THERE SOMETHING YOU WANTED TO SAY? HM” which is genuinely SO disrespectful and it had nothing to do with her actually. I do not want to see this review being neglected, I do not want to see her behaviour was disgusting, i’d never have experienced this in my 4 years of coming here, weekly.

Itsu offers a fresh and fast dining option with a focus on healthy Asian-inspired meals. The sushi is consistently good, and the hot dishes like rice bowls and gyoza are tasty and satisfying. It’s a great place for a quick lunch or light dinner, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices. The atmosphere is modern and clean, and the self-serve setup makes it convenient. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and they often have end-of-day discounts. Perfect for when you want something flavorful, balanced, and not too heavy.

Lovely healthy Japanese food. You can order from the machines or from the cashier. I went to the machine to browse and the cashier guy came over to see if I needed any help which was lovely. He was super friendly and attentive the whole time I was there. The food was delicious and filling, I had the spicy udon noodles with chicken. Good array of sauces available to add on too. Store was very clean.

Now that they introduced the new self-check out system and moved the food behind the counter, do check what they put in your bag. I paid for two portions of salmon teriyaki to take away, but when opened the bag at home found one salmon and one CHICKEN. Nice dinner option for someone who does not eat meat.

Nice sushi for a fast food sushi place. And of course if you go 30 mins before closing time, everything is 50% off. (That’s 9 pm on Monday - Saturday and 8:30 pm on Sunday)

Taste awful compare to before lockdown in and during lockdown when it was open only for take away. The taste have changed the drastically. Itsu was better than their competitor, Wasabi. Also staff don’t seem to be happy here. The girl from Africa rudely stock up shelves with Baojis (Buns) I ordered Korean BBQ chicken rice bowl, it only had 3 pieces of chicken, the entire rice was full of Edamame. So awful customer service and ridiculous policy. They can’t serve alcohol with dessert. Reply to the Owner’s Comment: I have already given you feedback on this online review. Please do not make me copy-paste something again to be send via email. Thank You!

Itsu is one of the best Japanese restaurants in London. With very good vegetarian/vegan options. The food is served hot. Service is quick. I tried the chicken and onion gyoza and it tasted delicious. It was steaming hot when received. Combine it with siracha sauce and the taste gets even better. Quantity is good as well. 8 pieces Also tried the veggie meatless meatballs rice bowl. The veggie meatballs were undercooked and tasted stale. There were peas, soybean, Spring onions, coriander, tomato amongst the vegetables. Brown rice and teriyaki sauce. The soya bean were raw and a little too crunchy which spoiled the taste actually. Peas were soft though. Not that gr8.

Had lunch there, it was a bit quiet as it was before noon. We had two bowls of udon, chicken udon and veggie gyoza udon. I would say it was delicious, the soup base of veggie gyoza udon is Thai flavour so it was a little bit spicy which added the flavour. My daughter said the chicken in the Chicken udon is a bit chewy but she said overall it was ok. The portion of the the udon is a bit small though, sushi is always delicious in itsu. The waitress who served us was very friendly, polite and helpful which added extra points to this review.
