I never leave reviews but this really took me by surprise. I was doing my usual shop and was looking through the fruit and noticed the punnet of strawberries I was about to put into my basket had visible mould on several of the strawberries. There happened to be a member of staff close by, stocking fruit next to me. I didn’t want someone else to make the same mistake I nearly did so explained the issue to the staff member and showed them how the product had mould on it. He apologised and took it from me. I continued down the aisle only to see him put the same punnet of strawberries back on the shelf! He knowingly allowed rotten fruit to be on the shop floor for others to purchase. I think that is disgusting behaviour on the part of that member of staff and really says a lot of about the standards of Aldi. Of course it’s cheap food so fruit may not be the most amazing quality and may expire faster but no store should be selling rotten food! It violates so many health regulations.

I usually have a good experience at Aldi, but unfortunately, one member of staff has consistently been rude. They never greet me, on one occasion, they handled my items roughly, almost throwing them on the counter. I couldn’t help but wonder if this treatment was because I’m a foreigner. I hope this can be looked into, as everyone deserves to be treated with respect.

Great store with alot of really good deals. Granted most products are off brands of the more popular-more expensive things. For example "Ritz Crackers" are "Savoury Crackers" etc etc. The store was cleaned and very well stocked, even at closing times. The staff are generally good mannered and happy to assist. The store was well lit and everything would be where you expected it to be. Parking was also a breeze, alot of spots available. The only place this deserves a star loss is the till management, its sadly slow and only a few cashiers on at one time. For example: The 2 visits i went there was a max of 2 registers open.

Well organised and great with opening tills to keep the queues down but a few too many holes on the shelves where stuff should be.

Since the revamp, this also store is much better. Everything appears easier to find. Much cheaper than the main Supermarkets. Some people get frustrated with the tills closing, but I dont mind it as you are in and out of the store quickly.

My no.1 shop for groceries. I've saved £'s over the years compared to the big 4. The quality of products is as good as the major 'brands' Just don't go late in the day as some things may be out of stock

It's a while since we've been to this branch only because Maltby opened. First time we have been since they've had all the fridges fitted. Seemed well stocked and clean. Only 2 tills on so a bit of a queue to get out . Don't know if I'm keen on the fridges, the doors get in the way i should imagine its a pain when its busy
