I've been a fan of Wasabi Sushi & Bento for a long time now but after today I'll never step in this place again ! The Assistant Manager named Shyam is one of a kind ,on a cold day of October he was insisting of keeping the shop door open after i repeatedly told him that was cold and i would like to eat my food in a warm nice place ,he advised me to get a jacket or move ,all wile beein rude and unpolite with his words and not caring for his customers ,avoid this Assistant Manager if possible, the place is great when he is not there !

I have been a customer of this branch for a few months now. I have always had a positive experience. The staff is always welcoming and very friendly specially the lady named Karolina, who is always very chatty, helpful and polite. When there is no customers she keeps herself busy anyways, doing things around the restaurant. The whole team is very helpful. The food is very tasty and fresh. Always a lot of choices. I love the veggie sushi. The selection of snacks and drinks is nice too. The cherry can drink is sooo tasty. The atmosphere is nice and shop is always clean. Thanks !

I had a fantastic experience at Wasabi! The staff were amazing, noticing I was struggling to carry everything and stepping in to help. The miso soup was piping hot with delicious tofu chunks and plenty of spring onions. Service was incredibly quick, and the place was spotless—a great spot to dine in. My meal was affordable, with perfectly cooked chicken that was tender and juicy, and the cucumber hosomaki was crisp and fresh. I stopped by for a quick bite before heading to Victoria Coach Station, and I’m so glad I did. Highly recommend!

The only thing left to say about Wasabi is the food. The portions were much better looking and with more veggies and curry last year than this year. They really minimized them, and if you compare with the price, it's not really worth it especially in this location, around Victoria Station.

The chicken katsu curry is good. Tables are clean, but no USB charger port here.

They sell pre-packaged sushi bento boxes and some hot meal bowls primarily for take-outs. You have an option of dining-in--seating is limited, though. As we were looking around to decide on what we wanted, a kind store worker informed us if we were dining-in, hot meals would be more economical since they would be taxed less. I guess sushi boxes would be taxed more for some reason. I appreciated that piece of information and thought it was a good customer service taking care of your potential patrons. We decided on a couple of hot bowls (photos). Food was pretty good though chicken katsu was very crispy and dry around the edges--it must've dried out a little under the hot warmers. I dunked my chicken in curry sauce and made it softer. I thought those bowls had a good amount of food for the money. We enjoyed our meals, and we were full for our long bus ride back to Oxford and on to Whitney. The shop looks very clean, bright and modern. I'd say it's a relatively new location.

This fastfood serving sushi and other asian inspired cuisine will have you surprised. Albeit small and buzy inside, the affordable meals, its serving and taste, are relatively better than at other higher priced eateries providing similar food.
