Had a lovely meal, the chef even offered to make something not in the current menu, after there wasn’t a great deal of choice for a vegan diner. The waitress Katie was very hospitable, and went above and beyond to make the whole experience even better. Atmosphere was great even for a Tuesday evening. Will definitely be returning
We booked for Sunday dinner. The table they had put us in as still being used do they moved us to another table. Unfortunately it was where a couple of families with children were. The children were not being watched and were noisy and quite distributive. However the service was excellent and I think of the best Sunday dinners we’ve had out for quite awhile. It was great that we could take our dog with us too.
We waited for a bit to be served and the staff was overwhelmed. We sat upstairs and there was only a waiter from time to time. The food was nothing special either. I was expecting a little bit more considering the 4.6 stars. I'm another hand, the place itself is gorgeous, very quirky and children friendly.
I arranged a surprise birthday get together for my husband’s birthday on 23rd October. Lauren was fantastic in helping me organise this & sectioned off the room behind the bar for family & friends. I ordered sandwiches for everyone who attended. They were delicious & everyone enjoyed them. All our family & friends agreed that the Norfolk Arms is a great pub, with great staff & a great atmosphere. Thanks for making the surprise party really special! Highly recommend!
Always delighted to enjoy a meal in the Norfolk Arms. Very attentive and friendly staff, lovely cosy atmosphere, superb food & our doggy beside us after a nice walk around.
Great range of beer in a lovely looking old style pub. Food great and staff very polite. Free parking just next door
