   Just had a wonderful Sunday lunch at this little gem of a country pub. Food was piping hot and delicious. Welcoming staff, lovely warm atmosphere and value for money! We will be back.

   Very friendly place, that serves an amazing Sunday roast. Writing this after my second visit just to make sure the wonderful time we had on the first visit wasn't just a one off. It wasn't and I can't recommend this place enough. Dog friendly, but you can eat in the restaurant area where no dogs are allowed if that is something that bothers you. Took a look at the rear beer garden during our last visit, and that too looks amazing, and should be very popular in the Summer months. Will definitely be coming back on a regular basis. Mike and Barbara your doing a great job, as are your delightful staff. Just keep it up, as we love pubs like yours. Just a pity too many are going under at the moment.

   Just back from an enjoyable lunch at the Andrew Arms.The steak and ale pie was delicious and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Sticky toffee pudding with real custard, what a treat. Will be back soon.

   Having recently returned from the Andrew Arms with my wife I have to say we have just had the most enjoyable Sunday lunch in a long long time. Food absolutely faultless with everything clearly freshly prepared, the beef & turkey was so flavoursome and literally melted in your mouth with all the accompanying vegetables cooked to perfection all rounded off with a proper gravy to die for. If there’s still room for a dessert afterwards these are equally delicious too! The new owners/managers are really lovely genuine people who made us feel very welcome throughout our visit - likewise the young serving staff are lovely and very professional at their job, we were accomodated in the small dining room at the rear and it was such a cozy relaxing ambience. It is clear that much money has been spent on a refurbishment that is very sympathetic to the premises and works perfectly with everything in order and spotlessly clean, all in all a lovely afternoon spent here and we convey our thanks to all for providing such a perfect experience - we truly can’t wait to come back very soon.

   Fabulous village pub, beautifully decorated, clean and with a great ambience. Hayley and Mel were friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be returning...Now serving gorgeous food, good honest pub grub AND authentic Italian (depending on the day)

   Very limited italian menu. If you like pasta with cream, chicken with cream, you'll like this, I didn't. Pizza and lasagna look OK, but not much else. The staff are very friendly. The pub is small and the beer is good.

   What a great find after a a nice walk round Etherow country park. Lovely pub with good beer and amazing home made pizza. The staff were friendly and the lady who made the pizza was lovely.
