    Sorry but the worst special chow mein ive ever had , had hardly any meat or veg in it, was supposed to come dry but came drenched in some salty sauce which was unbearable as it was so salty. There was also a large clump of noodles which were all stuck together and slimy.

    I hope they take this as feedback and not just a bad review... the food is just to salty... its not the worst but it's definelty not the best... I would hope from this review they can see where there going wrong and make improvements to make it a more enjoyable experiance.. maybe use salt and pepper seasoning not just salt and a few chopped up onions... ribs were cooked well but tasteless.. all in all I wouldn't go back as it stands ... they ask that you leave a 5 start review to enter the online competitions.. I dont think its fair to give a 5 star review based on the fact its free food...

    No idea why all the bad reviews and complaining about parking. We picked up an order here today and I can say we will be back. It was yummy hot, very filling and well priced. I loved their curry. No idea why people blame them for parking, right acorss the road is Asda you can park right there and just walk 5 meters it really isnt that hard.

    Was looking forward to a ' chippy ' , ordered fish, chip & gravy. Chips & sausage. Got home, took chips out of carrier bag. Could immediately tell they weren't proper deep fried chippy chips. Were reheated oven chips, like u get from an indian. Really dry & powdery in the middle. Very arrid ! Almost choked on them due to dehydration. Very disappointing. Fish was ok.. but if a chippy can't do chips then im not really going to try the rest of the menu. Reading the previous reviews, im not the 1st to think this.. Wont be going again. * just realised ive been generous there. Its rubbish..dont bother

    I genuinely have no idea as to why this Take Away would receive any decent ratings? We ordered out food and waited 90 minutes for it to arrive, which was ok, it was a Saturday evening and we were in no rush, albeit 90 minutes does seem excessive? When the food arrived it was still hot after it’s journey and so we began to serve it straight away. The food was absolutely terrible, it didn’t appear to have been seasoned in any way. The Special Chow Mein was bland and was oily and virtually inedible, with the minimum amount of meat mixed with the blandest and greasy noodles I’ve ever tasted. The other meal was no different, bland and absolutely tasteless, the only saving grace was the seasoning on the Salt & Pepper chips ordered. The chips themselves weren’t anything special, just the usual cheap frozen chips, even the chillis and onions in with them were bland, however because there was some seasoning on them (the clue is in the name of the dish!), that at least offered a modicum of flavour if eaten with the other dishes. Surely it’s not right to have to take a mouthful of chips in a worthless attempt to add flavour to the rest of the meal? We may as well have taken what we paid for it and put that in the bin instead! In the end we ended up binning well over half of the food we ordered, incredibly disappointed and we will most certainly not be returning. Incredibly disappointed.

    For a Chinese, delivered, we have always enjoyed the food we've had from Golden Flower. This time, we ordered Β£180's worth for a particular occasion and it was all delivered on time, very warm, really nice and enjoyed by all. We've never had any complaints in the past either. Recommended.
