I'm not sure what's happened with suhag. Been ordering for years and never had a problem. Last two weeks, ordered and didn't receive a curry sauce so just had a portion of chicken tikka, said they were too busy to send it back out. Tried again this week, took an hour and half delivery, food cold, no apologies about last weeks order, won't be ordering again.
Our first visit this evening on reccomendation...10/10 fresh piping hot food.BYOB ..100% returning x
Best curry restaurant for miles around. Have been a frequent visitor for over 20 years. Traditional curries that don't all use the same base unlike some places. Never had a bad experience here in the whole time I've been a customer. We don't live local anymore but still drive the 6 miles to attend. Ami and the staff are great can not recommend highly enough. Keep up the good work lads
First time here through a friend saying go and I will defo make this my new go to for curry ... Absolute no problems everything was really nice
Haughton Green institution. The Village would not be the same without Suhag. Great food. Friendly staff. Suitably priced. Good to also sit in the little restaurant rather than takeaway and it is Bring your Own drinks
Lovely food great service and very friendly staff, I was even impressed that the chef walk round and check everything was ok with the meal. we will be going more the only thing is it Does not sell alcohol but you can take your own in they don't mind.
Been using Suhag for a few months now, spend on average £20-£30 (large family including 2 vegetarians) I'm in dispair tonight, they know I'm a regular, they know a couple of us are veggie and tonight I ordered 2 veggie samosas to go with our meal. During eating, I bit into a samosa and it was completely filled with CHICKEN!!!! I know some of you may think, oh here we go, a vegetarian moaning, but this is my life choice and my daughters, and I've had a dead body in my mouth. I'm distraught, i didn't eat any of my meal, my daughter couldn't eat hers. Rang the restaurant and although he was apologetic, I don't think he realises the seriousness of what happened. NO REFUND GIVEN, ONLY FREE FOOD NEXT TIME, KNOWING FULL WELL I'M NEVER GOING TO EAT THERE AGAIN. I feel like bleaching my whole self. I will NEVER use this place again, infact, I'm never eating takeout food again. Such a massive mistake to make for a non meat eater. Avoid if you don't eat meat. I have lost all trust in them now. Just don't trust them. Below is my left over food, lots of food went in the bin tonight.
