   Went in on probably one of the busiest days. The first pint of Boltmaker was a bit cloudy,but the barman quickly poured another for me and the rest were delicious. Considering the crowds, the food service was quick and the food nice. No problem getting serviced either at the bar.

   I cannot fault The Town Crier, I reserved 2 booths for a family of 9 for the 15th November as a Christmas get together, on arrival the tabled had nice table cloths on them there was Christmas crackers too, we started a `tab` and ordered drinks, the staff were very attentive whilst walking past clearing other tables so therefore we didn`t have to get up to order drinks or the meals, all 9 meals were served as close together as 2 people could serve them which was excellent as the pub was busy, the food was `great` no one had an issue with any of the food, we had a few more drinks and settled the bill which in my opinion was not expensive, this was excellent value for money and the staff were fantastic (hence the tip ;-) ) I WOULD THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND The Town Crier to anyone who doubts whether or not to visit. Thank you to all the staff who made our visit a very pleasant experience.

   Stopped by this place on a train transfer, very nice place will definitely go back. The staff are professional and polite. The food was really good, nice soft drink and pulled a good Guinness. Lovely view whilst eating at Chester, I think this is a sports bar so very good for that, and good offers available daily for food.

   We spent this weekend in Chester, and went to the town crier on both nights of our stay. It has a lovely friendly atmosphere, and we felt totally at home there immediately. A big thank you to Ash, in particular, as he gave us a lovely welcome, on both nights, and couldn’t do enough for us. If you are ever in Chester, check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

   Came here for the last 3 nights while staying at the queens hotel. Lovely meals and friendly staff and reasonable prices. One perticular member of staff aways remembered us from day one I believe his name is Ash he always made us very welcome and always had a smile and made us laugh . What more can you ask for. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you all for your hospitality

   A lovely place close to the railway station to hang out and wait. They have a lovely beer garden and the food is delish! Download the app for easier order. The service is fast. They do double and triple burgers. The burger comes with a meal deal, however, it only gets counted in the last page of check out so don’t worry. It can get a bit noisy and loud in some spots specially when seatings below the speaker. Their servers and waiting staff are nice and helpful
