   We went there for Christmas Dinner yesterday. I asked if they could heat my babies Dinner up, they refused to heat it up even though my baby was hungry for her food. Absolute disgraceful. The only pub that's ever refused to heat up my babies food. Tbh wish we never went food was awful waste of Money.

   Not bad at all much better inside than the outside makes it look . Food is ok , not badly priced . Staff are good . Clean and tidy good atmosphere . About £13 on average for a plate of food and a drink . Pool table available and you can order from the app. Straight to the table . Really good staff who come over and check all is good and say hello and goodbye as you enter and leave . Nice pub . Nice staff well worth a visit

   We haven't been in here for a few years as our last couple of visits weren't that pleasant, so not sure if it's under new management or it's just been refurbished but what a difference. Went in to watch the United /Reading match and have something to eat while we were there. We pre booked to ensure we could get a table near the TV and was glad we did. Good choice of beers on,food was great (I had the chicken wings and they were lovely)service was prompt and efficient from pleasant and helpful staff. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will be including the George on our regular weekend nights out the Grove in future.

   Not the best because their card system was down so a tad inconvenient but this is the only thing stopping stopping it being a 5 star rating. Friendly staff , reasonable prices (as much as anything is) and during the football a lively but calm n friendly crowd. Would go again

   Came today for the first time with my kids and my elderly grandad. Must say i was so impressed, the staff are very lovely and attentive. Really polite and great with the kids. The food was really really nice, kids had chicken nuggets, I have the chicken sandwich and my grandad had scampi and all of us finished our food and throughly enjoyed it. Then desert grandad had crumble and kids had brownies. And it was such a good price what I paid for 5 of us under £50 with food deserts and drinks was definitly value for money. We will definitely be returning again. Thank you for an enjoyable evening. See you all again soon
