Really good since the new owners took over (summer 2024?), can tell they care & are passionate about the quality of the food. No frills menu, but everything really tasty and fresh - the sausage barms are incredible, I hear they're from a local butcher's shop.
Omg the toast was completely black burnt. The cheese beans jacket was literally the size for a small toddler. ridiculously small portions, chicken was undercooked.. shocked and disappointed
Nipped in for some lunch whilst on the road with work, service was excellent, food was very nice, jacket potato was perfect, with a decent amount of beans, well priced, £4 for jacket potato with butter & beans
They'd just opened, I plonked myself on a seat and ordered a breakfast muffin, it's literally still in my hand now and it's 'effin delicious. Friendly and quick service, freshly cooked and I live nowhere near but ill come again when I'm on training at the brewery. Could not recommend more.

Lovely hot turkey and stuffing muffins, and fantastic tasty home made soup too. Wonderful friendly warm cheerful chatty customer service. Always a pleasure to stop by here. Just brilliant!
