The Plymouth Grove Chinese Restaurant is nothing short of delicious. They sell all the popular chinese dishes but it's done so well chow mein dishes are so full of flavour, cooked to perfection and plenty of it. One of my favourite dishes is slat and peppered king prawns and they deliver on taste, texture, size and the coating they use doesn't look like the usual batter (oliy, over crispy) it's almost like they dust the prawns with a coating and it is yummy. Is you want a Chinese meal this is the place I drive for twenty five minutes, bypassing numerous chippies to get too Plymouth Grove Chinese Restaurant because it's worth every mouth full and every penny.

The Plymout Grove Chinese restaurant locates on a very quiet side street in Plymouth Grove. You can take the bus no. 50 going overthere and get off from the NSH Blood Donsor Centre that is opposite to the University of Manchester. Unlike other Chinese restaurants in town, the dim sums are limited Choices. The quality of foods are so and so. We ordered the fried rice vermicelli in Singapore style . The ingredines are very so rich having a generous portions but was a bite salty. The deep fried wonton is our second dish but it was a bite over done.

This Chinese restaurant has a very nice Guangdong style food with professional food quality. Moreover food taste and finished are very pleasing and worthy of praise. The waiters are nice and I will visit often.

Food and service were good, but it really is more like takeaway food as opposed to restaurant food. The seating area is pretty basic. If you're not too fussed and want a good tasting takeaway while eating in, this is the place. Solid 4 stars.

The food was great. It took a while to get to us, about 30-40 minutes, but the wait was worth it. Authentic, genuine taste and couldn’t fault it at all. Prices are a bit steep.

Blown away by the food here. Ho fun, Tong Choi, salt & pepper pork intestines stuffed with prawn are pictured. Would strongly recommend the pork intestines!

Excellent Chinese food, everything was very tasty with big portions for reasonable prices. The standout dish for me was the Aubergine and Pork with rice- loved in so much I ordered it again for takeaway a few days later. Service is also really great

A beautiful specious place, I loved a service, a madam was so lovely and took care of any of my requests, she brought especially for me an extra drink to warm me up as I felt cold. Food was served very quickly within 3-5mins from ordering and was really delicious. I had noodles &chicken. I can recommend the restaurant for anyone looking for a good meal in reasonable price as well.

This place serves one of the best Chinese foods in Manchester, in my opinion. I compared their Singapore Rice with another outlet in Salford and there was a vast difference. You can preorder here or order when you walk in (your choice). It's located at Plymouth Grove, it's close to a bus stop and easy to find on the map.
