Great food, fresh and extremely tasty, we won't hesitate to come back. Such a nice gem locally for authentic sushi.

We were served by Janice who was so exceptionally sweet and attentive the entire time we were there!! She was so accommodating and gave us really great service and this added to the experience, especially because the food was phenomenal. We ordered quite a fair bit but our personal favourites were the chicken karaage and the Dragon roll. Will definitely be back and would recommend everyone to go!

WOW!! Just had the most phenomenal meal at YUME, a hidden gem in Leytonstone that I didn’t know existed until I stumbled across the reviews on google, and I’m so glad I did. We decided to eat in, the service was excellent and the menu spanned two a4 pages which was really impressive - many options if you’re a veggie too! We had the gyoza, crispy chicken bao buns, salmon dragon rolls, chicken yakiudon & the most incredible sliced beef I’ve ever tasted (still thinking about it!). Every single dish was easily 10/10, all freshly prepared and easily the best Japanese food we’ve ever had in London! Honestly don’t think twice about ordering/eating in, we’re already planning our next visit!

Delicious food. Reasonable cost. We got donburi salmon teriyaki and veg curry. Reasonable portions. From the pictures I thought the crockery might be in plastic containers but the food was served in very tasteful japanese ceramics which makes a difference to me to the dining experience. Very delightful pretty surroundings. We were the only ones there, seems like leytonstone is pretty quiet for dining. They are not properly appreciated here! In central London I'm sure they'd be packed. We were there from 6.30-7.30pm or so. There were 2 deliveries collected whilst we were there and 1 guy who came for a take away. Seems more popular for take aways which is a shame as it's a lovely looking restaurant.

For a takeaway restaurant in Leytonstone area, this is considered a pricey restaurant. The dishes are quite upper end for a take away. The unagi rice was so sweet the sauce and ordered fried chicken noodles and the chicken was really bland as the stir fry wasn’t done with eggs. Overall wouldn’t encourage others to come here.

Ate here at the restaurant last night and we really enjoyed our meal. Fresh sushi and perfectly cooked grilled beef. When I ordered medium rare, it came out that way and it was so delicious. Friendly service in a lovely little space.

We were pleasantly surprised with this little sushi restaurant! It's cozy, the food is fresh and tasty and it's relatively accessible when compared to central London prices. Highly recommend!

This is hands down the BEST sushi I've ever eaten. Absolutely delicious, tons of flavour, presented beautifully. Really glad this has opened so close to where I live - no need to travel or hit the Japan Centre for our fix. Reasonable price wise too. Decor is classy, service is attentive and recommendations are really good. Phone ran out so I can't even share all the beautiful dishes we ate... you'll have to go! Highly recommended.
