   So glad I found this place on ubereats. Really good value for money. The food was amazing. They were a bit heavy handed with the salt though on the salt & pepper dishes and Singapore noodles. Other than I highly recommend. Will absolutely order again.

   Very stingy with portion size for quarter duck. I understand it is a quarter but that’s not even a quarter of a pot for the hoisin sauce. Had very dry duck and pancakes. Ruined my birthday. Everyone else’s food (starter platter, chicken chow mein noodles) was fine. Really upset with the duck.

   Decent food. Came here other night when coming back from an event and just needed food as was starving and most places were shut. Never tried before but glad we found it. Food was tasty and fresh. Would definitely come back. The lady behind counter was quite friendly which is a bonus even though we caught them with only 15 mins to closing and I took a while to decide but she was very patient.

   I ordered a portion of chips and although they were ok the service definitely wasn’t. The chippy looks unclean, it’s February and Christmas decorations still up making it obvious no serious cleaning gets done. The lady behind the counter snatched the £5 note out of my hand and when ready she practically threw the bag of chips through the hatch and slammed it shut. I said thank you but she rudely ignored me. Ok it wasn’t a big order but politeness is free and would encourage me to return. I won’t now

   Order a salt and pepper box that’s supposed to have salt and pepper chips salt and pepper chicken peaces and wings and ribs and it come all dry and the chips jus had onions on them nothing salt and pepper about them the soft noodle’s with bean sprouts was like sewage in a tub i wouldn’t mind and all they went the right noodles they was like over boil spaghetti pasta and the curry sauce was dried up in the pot absolutely vile this take away will never order again anyway went in tried to get a refund for the food they delivered me she refused ti refund me so i told her id be contacting the council as its discussing and she laughed at me so i threw the noodles all over her and poured the curry on her and flung the salt and pepper box at them and jus left as they was not gonna refund me in first place but I would even feed the food from here to a dog needs shutting down

   This was always a fantastic chippy but have to say since it's changed ownership it has gone down hill I called in last night for steak and kidney pie chips and gravy when i got home and started to eat my food the pie tasted sweet so i pulled back the pastry and the pie was bone dry and two different colours I went back to the chippy to show the girl behind the counter that the pie was off but she was having none of it she said that it was a freash pie but it definitely wasn't So i said to her that i wanted my money back or I will inform the council she then decides to refund me my money Sorry but i will never use this chippy again Please beware
