Was sceptical after seeing a few of the bad reviews on here but we dined there yesterday evening and it was delicious. We were in and out with an hour. Service was amazing and the food was incredible. Will definitely be back.
Went last night 8 of us for my birthday . Food and service was spot on
The food was ok but what irked me was the customer service. The female waitress was really rude and didn’t say anything to us when she directed us to the table and during service. Maybe we should’ve changed our mind and not decide not to eat here. The male waiter was slightly better and did engage. I thought maybe they didn’t like certain people as they were friendly and smiling with every other customer. If you can, go to Giuliano Italian Restaurant in Handforth. The food is award winning, reasonably priced and the customer service is great.
We come here often for over 6 years since my eldest were babies. They had an Italian manager for years, he was absolutely fantastic, the kids loved him to food tasted of passion, the food was always on point, he run a tight ship. I came today and learned the manager had left. There is a new manager I thought nothing of it. I ordered what we always order, last time we came I ordered spaghetti Bolognese for my 11 month old who had only. 4 teeth off the children’s menu BTW ! and he ate it perfectly fine. It’s always so delicious and full of flavour unfortunately today they have lost a good customer. The serving staff were lovely I ordered the goats cheese bruschetta for starters, the funghi zola, carbonara, and the kids ordered pizza , chips, chicken goujons, and Patti Bolognese. The pizza was really hard tough to chew, and it wasn’t cut properly, my little girl refused to eat it and she eats everything. The spaghetti bolagnese considering it off the kids menu it was rock hard they never make the pasta that hard it was almost crunchy my now 20 month old was choking and couldn’t chew never mind consume the food. I pulled a server straight away and said my child can’t eat this it’s rock hard, they said I still have to pay for it as her boss is in and they can’t take back food….. WHAT!!! That’s wild…. But we have not even barely touched it….. she said one second come back after a few minutes he said well you still have to pay as you ordered it no offer of anything else or maybe just give the kids a scoop of ice cream Atleast. I can’t lie it’s a Sunday I’ve now gotta go home and cook when the whole point of coming for a family meal is to go home bath and bed. I won’t be returning the food was not good carbonara was really salty, chips were really salty these are kids meals they shouldn’t be putting that much salt on the food. Carbonara was almost dey And the attitude and how it was handled was awful. I absolutely adored this restaurant especially while pregnant I’m really gutted but the foods bad and it is what it is at this point.
I think I have only been here once before, about 40 years ago! Casta, Booth and Jorvic treated us for cat sitting while they toured Northern Spain. Full range of typical Italian food. I had very tender ribs to start. Shared a four seasons pizza, again many years since having one of these. I rarely visit Italian as the boss can cook these dishes at home but well worth giving it a go. Especially if somebody else is treating you. Large L shaped lower floor with even more seating upstairs. Good wine selection and good service.
Really lovely, freshly prepared hot food and very good friendly service from table staff. Will certainly be going there again.
This is by far the best Italian in the North West! Amazing family run business with the best Italian food! Quality and value for money,combined with excellent service. A very merry atmosphere, and it isn't even Christmas yet! Never let down at Bellinis!
Really fantastic! Recently been a few times with my parents for lunch on a couple of Friday's and received excellent service and amazing food. This is my go-to Italian in Manchester and I live in the City Centre, where there's lots to choose from. The meatballs in-particular are incredible! A must try. Keep up the good work!
A suprise as some people wrote not good things, well, have the Pillow funghi, stuffed with sweet sun-dried tomatoes and spinach ricotta, served with choice 2 side dishes, washed down with couple chilled blush pinot grigio,,very very satisfied! Natalie was very helpful n even stayed behind a bit whilst we chatted, Definitely my new eating place!
Great Italian food! Very tasty. Slightly long wait times.
