Used to frequent Viet Shack a lot when I lived in town and this was my first visit back in a couple of years... the food has got even better! The crispy duck & rice dish was superb. Looking forward to returning again soon.

Wonderful food and lovely service. Pork belly rice and virgin cherry mojito are fantastic. Will be back. Thank you!

Had a lovely dinner here with my housemates! I had the pho chay and it was delicious- beautifully seasoned and a very large portion size. I also had a virgin cherry mojito which was pleasant but quite bitter. The bao bun dessert looked better than it tasted but was still decent. The service was good and the food came out quickly, but the waitress who took our order seemed new- she was still lovely. Overall we had a nice evening and we will be returning!

First place Iβve been to where none of the food disappointed! Such lovely balance and surprises of flavours without the food feeling too much or heavy. Service was so warm and welcoming. So glad I came here to end the night!!

Arrived around 5:50 pm on a Saturday evening β busy enough with most tables filled, but still comfortable. We sat down and ordered a Pho and Summer Rolls. Barely five minutes later, our food was on the table. Having tried a lot of decent Vietnamese spots around Manchester since Viet Shack moved from the Arndale, I hadnβt visited this location until now. I have to say, itβs very impressive β the Pho was full of rich, aromatic flavours, and the Summer Rolls were fresh and beautifully presented. Service was friendly and efficient despite the busy atmosphere, making the whole experience even better. Definitely worth a visit if youβre in Ancoats and craving authentic Vietnamese food.

Best fried squid weβve ever had! Food was all incredible & the cocktails tasted as good as they looked. Small error made on an allergen request for our order & the staff were fantastic about rectifying.

Amazing little restaurant! Booked a table on our visit from Glasgow last July. The place was super busy, bright and lively. We ordered a few dishes, including spring rolls, and the vegan oyster mushroom skewers alongside a couple of cocktails which were all incredible!! The service was fast and efficient. One of the best places to eat in Manchester!!

I would say, this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurant in Manchester. Already it is a bit fusion with England style, but it doesnβt affect the sense and tasting. I only try the rice (instead of soup noodle which is normal everywhere). The sweet and sour source pairs up with the rice and chicken, not much different from those in Vietnam (except the softness of rice but cannot care of that). The spring roll is a fusion one definitely but taste good. Unfortunately it doesnβt come with set or combo for dinner, otherwise the experience will be even better.

Lovely meal! I really like their lunch deal: Β£9.99 for any main with a drink and Β£10.99 if the drink is tiger beer. Their food is absolutely delicious. We tried the aubergine and the ribs as a started, both had a great sauce. I got the tofu wrap which was really tasty. I will definitely be coming back. The only issue is that at lunch time the menu is smaller, so I will definitely be coming back for dinner to try more food items
