7:17pm ordered my food. Didn't get it till 8:30. You might think that's fine for delivery, but it wasn't delivery. I ordered from the window and waited a hour an 10 minutes. After 30 minutes I was told it'd be 20 minutes , turned out to be another 40 minutes. Turns out you can also pay £5 for your food to be prioritised. When you pay £15 for a tray of food, another 5er is unacceptable. Mac and cheese was nice. Chicken was really dry on the outside, had to pick the edible meat off the dried top layer. Order was missing my corn on the cob. Friday night, no waffles, no lobster. Their trap juice is not juice. It is melted blue slush puppy bottled up and sold for £3.50 They seem to be prioritising Uber eats orders. We've seen 20 riders come and go in the time we waited for food. Lovely ambience whilst waiting, scenic views of bins and wildlife(rats) running around.

Previous experience was great and food was fab. Ordered again on my birthday and they totally messed up the order. Tried ringing the driver, then to find out there's no contact number for the business...? Messaged on their instagram, they replied thr next day to ask me to email them, which I did. No response back to this day. Not worth the risk, they need to get a contact number.

Overall i enjoyed the food and experience and would go again. i’m quite antisocial so i loved how its just a window you go to, say your order then you go back to your car and wait for the buzzer to go off. It’s quite expensive at £20 a box but i shared it as i wasn’t that hungry. Macaroni, corn and prawns were so delicious and had a lovely sauce on them. the lobster was a little dry. It could be abit cheaper but it was good.

The wait is a little long to get served the food (approx 40 minutes) however, this is worth every second. Food is very flavoursome, hearty and big portions for what you pay. Everything is well made, seasoned and fresh. The baller’s combo was £25 at the time of this review and is almost big enough for 2 people.

I ordered the ballers combo during my stay In Manchester. I’m not a seafood fan but after hearing positive reviews of Trap Kitchen I decided to try something new. Had the prawns and lobster tail and they were nice in flavour; still don’t think seafood is for me though. I wasn’t a fan of the bbq chicken, wasn’t anything special. The Mac and Cheese as well as Oreo waffles were very nice however! Presentation was also great. I’d definitely say it’s more on the pricey side.

Had a takeaway from here on Saturday, the Mac n cheese and chicken was brilliant , had a box meal and didn't realise the waffles are done with chocolate sauce , I thought they'd be savoury in the same box. All I could smell whilst eating the chicken and mac was chocolate quite off putting. Not sure it's a good idea having sweet and savoury in the same takeaway box.£15 also a bit pricey for a takeaway.

Trap Kitchen was very over priced and extremely disappointing. As you can see from the receipt the chicken wings were £7.99 in one portion there was only 4 wings the other had 5. Both wing orders were ment to have sweet potatoe fries and both came with normal chips. I lived in the USA for eight years so I know what chicken and waffles are like and what I had couldn't be further from that. I've given two stars because the mac and cheese was good however I would look elsewhere in the future.

It's a bit of a luck of the draw place in that you could be there and gone in 20 mins, or you could be waiting with 10 others for 1-2hrs. That said, Friday is my favourite menu day (every day is a different menu) and I've gone and treated myself here at least once a month for the last 6 months because I absolutely love the meal I get (the bang bang prawns are sooooo good) and consider it worth the wait. I only live down the road too which is a bonus. It would probably be good for the business to invest in a shorter wait time.

Had to wait for 45 minutes to order, then an hour for the actual food. When it came the best things were the prawns. The pasta wasnt good. The lobster was so overcooked that my fork and knife broke while trying to cut into it. They gave bagels and they weren’t even toasted. The ‘southern fried’ wasn’t even southern fried. It was just fried chicken and was not crunchy at all, it was more tough after you had taken a bite it would take a while to get through with no flavour. Would not go again as it was £20 and with that you can eat at much better places. My mate threw up after.

This place is in high demand. The wait time can be a bit much but it’s definitely worth the wait because the quality of the food is amazing. Travelled all the way from London just to get the taste of real seafood. The Lobster tail is the better option than the crab legs in my opinion. Crab legs was a bit too spicy and salty and a little bit of a hassle to eat. And I was way too hungry to go through that hassle. I had the lobster tail, bang bang prawns, mac & cheese and waffles. DELICIOUS!!! I just wish it wasn’t just a take away spot because the amount of time I spent waiting on my food was long since I had to stand. I didn’t have a car so that definitely wasn’t a comfortable wait. All in all, I can’t really fault the place because the food has me wanting more n more.
