Not been here in years... and it hasn't changed.... same family run restaurant and the menu is reasonable and all freshly cooked! It was nice to go back and taste it all again.

The food was really delicious, and the staff were very friendly. I especially loved the BBQ beef β it was so tasty! Thereβs a reason why so many Koreans recommend this place.

A very authentic Korean restaurant, especially recommending beef bone soup and raw mixed beef. The dishes are not only in small portions, but also have affordable prices and high cost-effectiveness.

The servers were great and cleaned us a table very quickly. Servers were very friendly and nice towards us and the food was brought to us in a decent time considering how busy it was. I love this place. The wings were very meaty and had a lovely spicy sauce around it whilst still retaining some crispiness. The BBQ experience was really enjoyable. The staff were considerate for bringing 2 tongs (one for raw one for cooked). The beef bugolgi cooked nice and quick. Easy to sear. The pork belly was also nice and fatty. Rice was nicely cooked. The lettuce was really crisp and fresh. Condiments had lovely fermented flavours. Unfortunately, there is no vents around BBQ tables and it did get quite smoky around entire room so that's something to consider if your party has anyone that's sensitive to smoky places.

Marvellous! This is a Real Korean Restaurant in the middle of the Manchester center! Give an honorable mention to put this on top of the list of good restaurants, this is where we get proper and quality Korean cuisine, got to give props to this Korean restaurant, credit where credit is due, the staff speak native fluent Korean, and are very friendly to serve us food and drinks. The food we ordered look and tastes exactly like how they would be back in Korea. Much Appreciated the heartfelt effort showcasing the beauty and artistic approach in Korean food.

A lovely authentic Korean place. The food was amazing and to die for. The servers were extremely kind and accommodating. I only got to try the vegetarian dishes for a change but I canβt wait to try the bbq menu specially the sharers. They accept American Express so thatβs always a plus. Makes a lovely place for romantic dates!

We booked a table for 2 with a BBQ grill to celebrate my OH's birthday as he wanted a Korean BBQ. The positives: - The restaurant was full and the service was great. - We ordered Yangyum daknalge (chicken wings), Dokbeok (rice cake), Squid & Pork bulgogi, Beef Rib Galbi and a portion of sticky rice and they all came quick. - The price was reasonable since it's in city centre and we spent Β£46.40 in total for the two of us with drinks. - We enjoyed grilling the meat ourselves which was optional. The average (not-so-positive): - The portion was on the small side but they were filling enough for us as we shared. - All the dishes used the same base sauce so the yangyum daknalge were smothered in the same sauce as what the dokbeok were cooked in as well as the dipping sauce for the bulgogi. Overall it was a very good experience having 'homely' Korean cuisine and BBQ in Manchester city centre.

This is my second time visiting Koreana. The staff are professional and attentive. Everything is great. We ordered some BBQ dishes and they were perfectly seasoned. The BBQ also came with lettuce and a variety of sauces and pickled greens which complement them nicely. Every dish we have tried so far is amazing. And their homemade desserts are not to be missed. We always order their ice creams after a meal; they are refreshing and satisfying especially after a heavy BBQ dinner. Service is great. We ordered assorted pickles and were given just one type. We thought it was strange so asked a waiter who then immediately checked it for us. They quickly brought out the right dish and apologised for the mistake. So very pleased all in all. The only things I would nitpick on are that the portion seems a bit small for the price. But since they donβt charge a service fee the total bill is still quite reasonable. And also they tend to bring out all dishes at once so Iβd recommend to order the desserts after youβve finished with your meal. Definitely recommend and will always come back here for Korean BBQ.
