Ordered through just eat, payed for, owner called me to cancel just eat and to pay Im cash, o refused as to much hassle he confirmed he was cooking it still and will let the just eat collect. The moment it got to the pick up time they cancelled it. Don’t recommend.
Absolutely love this place! Amazing vegan and vegetarian options and the food is always on point. Finished a late work shift, called 5 minutes before closing and the lovely couple still took my order and waited for me past their closing time. They even provided free spring rolls with the order. I’m so grateful for the kind gesture.
It gave me food poisoning. I'm not joking. I'm in so much pain and I know it's from there since it came on within 4 hours of eating. Food tasted OK. The vomit after, not so much.
Great food. Very delicious, well made and good packaging too. Staff are nice and overall experience is great. Would recommend it.
Don't bother going here, you dont get your order and the customer service is terrible. Most of our order was missing and upon ringing them to ask for the rest of there order they was rude and said we can onyl sortbit through uber eats, even though the restaurant is the one who cooks and packs the order. And upon asking why they could not just send us the rest of the order they said they can't even though it meant we wouldn't all be eating tonight and then put the phone down on us.
The food here is, I would say, in my personal opinion, okay, but it could be better. It's still worth a try as you may have a different experience than the one I had
Was looking forward to the re opening but was sceptical hearing under new management. Ordered for the first time and was underwhelmed. The curry sauce wasn’t to the same standard in curry dishes and the salt and pepper chicken wasn’t either. Not the worst Chinese food out there BUT by no means not up to previous standard
This takeaway has just changed ownership,we were disappointed with our recent order, we found our food was not as good as what the previous owners made, it's not terrible but nowhere near the same quality as it used to be, prices have also risen considerably and card payments are no longer accepted, good portion sizes but unfortunately we won't be returning just not to our taste, shame it used to be our favorite chinese takeaway.
We have recently moved into Penistone and been looking for a nice Chinese takeaway and have tried a few locally but none compare to this. Luckily we stopped here to try it out and are we happy we did. We ordered king prawn with mushrooms and sweet sour chicken both dishes came with rice included (50p charge for fried rice ) we also ordered a large pancake roll all this for only £13:10.The food was lovely the sauces superb no grease the prawns were huge. The pancake roll was amazing no grease really warm and fresh we could have used our hands to eat it amazing. The rice was spot on we had boiled and fried rice which was superb. We will be using this as our place to go well worth the drive 8 miles. The food was still hot when we got home. We cannot praise this takeaway enough. We highly recommend you try it.
Price on the higher side but nice fried rice. Also they accept card payment (£5 minimum) so it's a plus. Friendly bossman as well hence will return
