   I recently visited this place and ordered a gourmet burger along with a couple of beers. The service was decent, and the staff were attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was pleasant, with comfortable seating that made it a nice spot to relax and enjoy a drink. Unfortunately, the food was a big letdown. After a couple of beers, most things usually taste better, but in this case the burger was lacking in flavour. I found myself reaching for extra salt, ketchup, and mayonnaise just to get something out of it. For a dish marketed as a “gourmet burger,” it was very disappointing. Overall, I’d give it 2 stars. The service and setting are fine, but the food—arguably the most important part—just didn’t live up to expectations.

   The Cauliflower steak was very yummy and "something different" from the usual, enough for two persons with added chips. Our waiter (M.) was genuinely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was nice. The prices were a little more on the expensive side, but that's probably to be expected from being near the airport where you don't have much option to go elsewhere. We didn't see any added or hidden charges, service or otherwise, on our bill. We were very happy and pleasantly surprised, considering the otherwise bad reviews.

   Lot of bad reviews but in fairness its not bad and service was prompt and efficient, menu is fine and expected at a hotel around an airport the prices are obviously high and you expect that, food was good and came quickly and the staff were friendly and a young team, i really cannot fault their service and some days good be bad for all of us and we cant all be having a good day, today we were looked after and hope everyone else does too.

   We came in here when staying at the Clayton hotel. I had fish and chips. My partner had the chicken burger. We shared a warm chocolate brownie for dessert. We had 2 pints and 2 bramble cocktails total bill was £76. Food was nice and the staff were great

   The staff were lovely, but the food was awful. Margarine? Really? This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel!!!

   Food was delicious but I had an extra £4.5 charge on my receipt which was not mentioned previously or mentioned on the receipt which I only found out upon adding up the total. Additionally the staff paid no attention to many customers to the point where customers had to go behind the counter to get their own menus.

   The food was excellent. The appetizers were delicious and for the mains, we had the chicken supreme, which was moist and flavorful, and the sea bass, which was exquisitely cooked! Service was quick and friendly too!!

   Experience - Poor at best, service was slow, communication was poor. Food - Terrible, think the chef lost any pride in their work quite some time ago. Surprised what they let leave the kitchen. Price - Just over £40 for two small drinks, main, starter and side. Steep but airport hotels, what you gonna do.
