   New workers dont know customer service been coming for years spent about £9 today on food and asked for some mayonaiss sachet. tried charging me 50p for a smallblue satchet of mayonaise. disappointed with the place. Recommend going elsewhere.

   me and my partner are not locals so we wanted to try it. the guy that served us was polite and lovely, had a nice smile. the food was delicious! the chicken was spot on and the chips were fresh and just perfect. would definitely come back if we drive past!! :)

   I ordered a 6-piece chicken meal with gravy, which cost about £11—higher than the average £9.50. Unfortunately, this meal didn’t include a drink, which was disappointing. The shop’s atmosphere was lackluster, with only two customers dining in and no one waiting in line. The server was friendly and efficient in taking my order. The decor felt outdated, reminiscent of chicken shops from the 1990s to late 2000s. There was a discrepancy between the prices on the board and what I was charged. The menu listed the chicken meal with chips and gravy at £4.99, suggesting a total of £7-8, but I ended up paying over £11. The menu board needs updating. The chicken looked appealing but had no distinctive flavor—no noticeable seasoning. The texture varied, with some parts stale and others extremely wet and greasy. The breast was hard, crunchy, and dry. The gravy had a jelly-like appearance and an unusual aftertaste. The chips were soggy but had decent flavor, though nothing remarkable. A few hours after the meal, I still had a strange aftertaste and experienced bloating, which I don’t usually get from similar meals. Overall, while I wouldn’t say to avoid this place, don’t expect anything exceptional or worth a second visit. Thanks to the team at Kansas for the service, but I won’t be returning. Ratings: 1. Food: 2/5 - The chicken lacked distinctive flavor and had an inconsistent texture. The gravy and chips were underwhelming. 2. Atmosphere: 2/5 - The atmosphere was dull with dated decor. 3. Service: 3/5 - The server was friendly and efficient. 4. Overall: 2/5 - The experience was disappointing, and I wouldn’t return

   Kansas recipe is really good. Their spicy chicken is worth trying. Food is always fresh and at a reasonable price. Service is far too slow. Wouldn't recommend eating in though. For some reasons management keeps changing every few months.

   Chicken was rubbery The place needs a deep clean, in the waiting area, and I'm guessing in the kitchen too. Had a ropey stomach the day after eating from here. It's cheap but far from cheerful

   What a delicious and tasty chicken! The fried chicken is tender inside with crispy and thin skin. I sometimes order wraps as well. The staff there are friendly and have served this community for years. Cash only is acceptable.
