   Fuel never disappoints me in the 5 years I've been in and out, every time I'm back in Manchester I absolutely have to visit. some food items are absolutely delicious and other merely very good (the pakoras and chips are delightful) haha the staff is always lovely and the atmosphere never fails to feel inclusive and homey. great gigs too!!

   Nice vibe for a short while. But a little bit too dark to study in. Also there seems to be a perpetual queue. A single poor bloke by himself behind the counter. At least when I went. Entered the queue at 1pm and got my drink in 2070AD.

   I’m so upset. I had such an awful experience. A random girl in the bar threw her phone at my head. I thought it was an accident and gave it back to her. She then threw it at me again. I barely reacted because I just thought oh dear she must be on drugs or something. My friend wasn’t as lenient though and went over to her and confronted her. The manager handled it worse than I could’ve imagined. I’ve never met such a sexist, disgusting manager of a bar in my life. I’m a 30 year old woman here just for a quiet birthday night out. Instead I got assaulted and then treated terribly by the manager. My friend who is male stood up for me and went and approached the girl who was throwing her phone at my head. Instead of addressing the situation with the two people involved, the manager came and attacked the weakest person in the situation, me, who was sat in silence whilst this all unfolded. He spoke to me disgustingly, I was so intimidated by him and so upset. I had just been randomly attacked by a random girl in this bar, didn’t react, and then attacked worse by the manager, He stood over me, intimidated me and told me I needed to get out of his bar as he didn’t want problems. I’ve never witnessed a bar owner handle a situation worse, but also speak to and intimidate a woman in a worse way. I’m upset, disgusted and dissapointed. I would not recommend visiting this bar especially as a woman, I felt unsafe, violated and intimated. I recommend the bar owner learn how to deal with situations more fairly and professionally. I’ve contacted the police about both the assault that happened to me and the reaction of the bar owner. Ive been informed by the police that your cctv will be seized. I hope you learn from this very unfortunate situation.

   The food took over hour to come, when one of the orders was just avocado toast. One of the bean burritos didn’t have any beans it. The loaded fries weren’t presented very nicely (see picture for reference). They don’t have a customer first attitude and had bad service. Very unhygienic, they left food out on the side. When they gave us a knife and fork they were wet. The food wasn’t nice and the portion of chips on the side was 5 wedges. Wouldn’t even fill a baby up.

   Really nice food! Found this place whilst we were staying in Manchester- we needed somewhere for vegan breakfast. This was a great find. Friendly staff, great service & food was fantastic quality.

   What can I say. This is one of the best places to play a gig. Amazing sound engineer. Amazing room with Twin Peaks stage. The vegan cakes are absolutely to die for! A must visit place for any band or anyone looking for good food with a great atmosphere.

   Great portions, very cheap - veggie menu with everything seemingly home made. Would recommend the quesidilla and pakoras on the small plates section - but these defo are not small plates - they are basically like main meals! Personally wouldnt recommend the breakfast as it was a little bland compared to all the other interesting options on the menu and specials. I always leave here full and satisfied. Great drinks selection if you are after beers and spirits - again good prices. There is usually something happening here, gigs, music which can be quite loud when the upstairs door is open but this is fitting to the vibe, welcoming with nice music in the background and relaxed staff - this place is never empty!

   The tea was one of the worst cups of tea I've ever had, but the breakfast was delicious, the staff very friendly and its a cool little place. Reasonable priced booze too if you fancy a bit! Very busy, so always a good sign. Work on the tea though.

   I love this place. I'm not a vegetarian. However, everything I have tried from this place is amazing. Would definitely recommend. It also does a variety of different things. One of them being live music. Sometimes it is heavy metal though... my favourite meal is the quesadilla with home made chips and a shake (not decided on my favourite yet). Their staff are friendly and food is affordable too.
