   Brilliant restaurant/pub near Manchester Airport. We always attend the romper after myself and my mates visit the airport to plane spot on a Saturday afternoon. Lunch is always spot on. We either have fish and chips, the chicken sandwich or even the signature burger! (which I highly recommend!!) Give the Romper a visit if you want a quality lunch after visiting the Runway Viewing Park or if you’re generally within the airport vicinity . They take care of us, so they’ll take care of you.

   Amazing staff, Fabulous team.. Vicky, Jake,Harvey, Olivia and Sue service and food as always. Had the lovely Sue as our waitress and was so chatty and accommodating.

   Gluten free menu attached as I couldn't find it online. Some good options, food came quickly and was hot. I wished there were chips on the gluten free menu but jacket potatoes were a nice change. Service was slightly slow but was rectified quickly. They have gluten free beer which is nice. It was very busy which was nice to see considering it's tucked away.

   For many reasons - some my fault, some our carnivorous world’s fault - I arrived at my hotel by Manchester airport not having had a proper meal in 24 hours. I was STARVING! The woman at the front desk told me there was a pub down the road. I almost ignored her, thinking, “They won’t have anything for me, and if they do, it’ll be a plate of boiled vegetables.” I am so glad I looked the menu up online because wow! This place is fantastic! The pub itself is cozy, beautiful, and inviting, and the staff are SO helpful. For me, though, the biggest thing was the menu is really great for vegans. We have several options, and they’re not just afterthoughts. They’re genuinely good, well-though-out fare. I got the soup, the mushroom pie with chips (mash was an option, too), and the Bromley apple tart with coconut ice cream. All were excellent and really hit the spot. I am so glad my last night in the UK (and the last of my vacation - boo!!!), I got to have traditional British food in such a wonderful environment. Great way to end things!

   Lovely Christmas lunch. Had a great meal, great service and lovely and cosy day near the fire. Took my friends dog and she was really relaxed, and met some new friends. Really recommend the Christmas menu and the food coming out looked fab too.

   We visited The Romper Saturday tea time and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, very well presented and perfectly cooked, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. The reason for the 4 stars not 5, was the staff forgetting our desserts and then having to wait even longer before one of the two we ordered came we had to gain the attention of another staff member to ask about the second dessert which she chased up. I believe this could have been avoided if a single check back was done but not once were we asked if our food was ok or if we would like anything with our food etc. Maybe this was a one off.. we will definitely be back again soon.

   I came with my Mrs and 2 friends from York as we were having a night away. Booked in here for Lunch and can honestly say as an Ex Chef myself, The Mixed Grill was out of this world, The best I've had by a mile. My Steak was cooked to perfection. The staff were very professional so we will be back... SPOT ON!!!!!

   Really good food. Great variety of dishes to choose from. The drinks selection was good but the bar was only capable of making the cocktails on the menu, whether that was the policy or lack of skill by the bar I do not know, but it was a bit disappointing. Other than that the meal and service were great. The staff came back frequently to take our order and check up on us. The food came pretty quickly for what it was. The meat pies were great. Desserts were good too. I had Sticky Toffee Pudding which I was told I had to have in England. It was ok, but probably not due to the restaurant, it turns out I might not like Sticky Toffee Pudding. I do recommend Romper for good food.
