   Welcome to Manchester. Bought a cappuccino, and asked politely for a cardboard sleeve. Received the sarcastic response from the girl working there 'wd only normally provide this on Tea's, but YOU must have sensitive fingers'.... Great service and welcome. Won't be going back.

   Bit of a strange experience. Lunchtime last Saturday, it was very busy so there was maybe 3 people serving and a couple of people making drinks. As we got closer to the front the lady behind the counter caught my eye and smiled however someone else barged in front so to the chap on the left we went. Well…had vouchers due to our flight being delayed, I explained, he said can you scan it - I said, does it have a bar code (it didn’t), his reply, I don’t know it’s your voucher (fair dos but chill), it was the boarding pass it needed, he said we could scan together, so he asked me, I did it, he then said to my husband did he have one to scan now and he did, well, then he lost the plot, we’d done it too fast and broken the machine, he actually flipped the screen over to show us how we’d broken it because we’d scanned the code (even tho he asked us too), so then we waited, all the while he’s explaining why what we did was wrong and now we’re having to wait and it’s holding people up. Eventually it comes back to life and husband rescans his BP and all is well. Just a very strange interaction.

   Standard food at doubled prices. From the few vegetarian options available I bought a falafel, avo and chipotle sandwich. Sounds great, reality was different. Firstly it was stone cold. Then, the middle bites were well-filled but the edges were just flatbread with nothing in between. Try something else.

   The best coffee and sandwich on the go in the UK. This one is located at Manchester airport terminal 1 after the free duty. Huge selection of snacks and sandwiches. And the service was quick and excellent, a great way before rushing to my gate. The ham and cheese toast is a favorite and the same goes for the ice latte.

   I really like this go get it place to grab coffee, snacks. Fruits or deals. You can fetch a coffee or your own choice or any bakery item. They got sandwiches, salad, drinks and multiple option to fulfill appreciate at airport terminal. I have been to their outlets both on London and Manchester airports. Overall a satisfied customer from services and food point of view.

1. The Travelling Camera ★★★☆☆

   Not a great selection but what I did have was lovely. Service was woeful. Took forever and all I needed was someone to scan the prices - I didn’t need any coffees made or heated foods. Tables weren’t that clean and there weren’t any power point which is bizarre in this day and age let alone with business people travelling.

   The staff at this busy airport cafe is probably the nicest and friendliest I have ever come across while travelling. They will literally crack a joke with every customer, which is appreciated considering travelling can be super stressful. I will definitely come back on my next journey

   Pret is a stylish chain and I appreciate it. This one in Manchester plays great music as a bonus to their good food. My only complaint is that they don't know what green tea is. They're not alone in this. There is a tendency to mix teas so if you order Jasmine tea you get green tea plus a few Jasmine flowers, not as good as a pure cup of Jasmine tea. At prey I ordered green tea and it tastes of Lemongrass. I rip open the bag and sniff the evidence. Lemongrass dominates. Why do they do this? I'm sure they're too busy and important to answer this question so I'll give them three stars ad an expression of disapproval.
