   Long time since I had been here. Why???? It was a fabulous lunch. Had such a great time, the staff were absolute stars. The food delicious. Best place in Whitefield for lunch. Brilliant value for money.

   I had to post as we had an amazing meal at Porada tonight. We had a party of 5 with one coeliac. Lots of choice on the menu and there was a variety of dishes ordered, everything was amazing especially the Gamberoni Taormina main.

   This place has struggled to get the food right for what seems a lifetime. It is always hit and miss and it leaves you wondering whether either the chefs are too variable or the kitchen is generally poorly run. The family that runs the restaurant are always polite, welcoming and listen to feedback. However, the food (the main and most important part) is never anything more than just passable. Personally, I do not understand all the above average reviews. At best, Porada tries hard but, on all accounts, is a terrible Italian restaurant experience because they just don't get the food right. I really want them to up their game because they could be tremendous if they matched the passion of the service team that operate outside of the kitchen.

   My daughter booked for 4 of us to dine for my birthday. It was 4 pm and no other diners here. However, the whole restaurant was fully booked for an evening party, and this was probably why late afternoon dining was restricted as they were preparing the dining area. The staff were exceptionally friendly and polite, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was well presented, very hot and tasty. The service was excellent. At the end of our meal, the staff brought out a large profiterole with a candle and all sang happy birthday, a funny and thoughtful gesture. Will definitely dine here again.

   Food was amazing, waiters were polite and humorous. The tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had and the chocolate brownie was delicious too, the drinks were amazing too. Would recommend.

   Glad to report that after the closure due to metrolink work the standard of food and service was excellent. Had problems in past with service but looks like that has been addressed and had a 1st class meal with wife. Still the nicest restaurant in Whitefield decor wise. Will be back soon.
