I attended a 50th birthday in the Cuckoo space. Very intimate and well presented space. We caught the tram to Prestwich and it was only a five minute walk away. Recommended for low key parties

A great gluten-free pizza (and excellent mocha, as well as coffees generally), very kind and chill staff, cozy, and nobody will rush you out. Have enjoyed Cuckoo so much — and I’m not the only one: my dog keeps trying to take me back. (We now compromise on going to the door then going home.) A variety of seating options for groups of different sizes, although 4 or 5 is probably the maximum.

Popped in with our toddler for a coffee and cocktail and encountered the worst service I've experienced in Prestwich in 11 years. Servers acting like they were on a come down from the night before and rolling their eyes when we asked if someone could wipe the one highchair, still covered in food from whenever. In fairness a very good old fashioned but shouldn't take 20 mins for a latte to arrive in a half empty place with as many staff as customers. Lot of choice in Prestwich now. Harder to get away with skipping the basics in 2025... Never been looked at like dirt before when I've asked to pay the bill.

We were made to wait for 40 minutes for two breakfasts, only to be served the most subpar and disappointing food. The sausages were obviously cheap and nasty (AND SO SALTY!!), the pancetta was dried out presumably after sitting on the heat lamps for too long and the eggs had most of the white cut off?? What happened to the rest of it?? No one bothered to check if we were ok when we were waiting, or when we were consuming our food. Not even when we were paying. If your kitchen is struggling to cope, please let your customers know upfront so they don’t feel trapped after waiting for over 30 mins. Would not recommend.

I am a bit late to the party I fear. This place was amazing. Had two pizzas and the humus as a starter. The most friendly staff you could ever ask for. Service was quick but with a warm smile. It’s actually a really large venue with an upstairs area perfect for getting some work done during the day and downstairs for late night drinks with friends. There is a real friendly and welcoming vibe to the place with an outdoor area too undercover and with heaters. Really recommend this place. They do brunch as well as pizza and we had a lovely time. Three children and adults.

Generally I enjoy a meal here. I have always been with my children past 8pm. Tonight arrived with my eldest and her grandparents for a post op treat, given she has just had major spinal surgery and doesn’t often see her grandparents. This was a treat, for her and for us to see her out and able to enjoy herself. We were shown to a table, given a menu, asked for a drinks order and food order. Once we had given this asked for ID for the 12hr old not drinking. Then told we had 15minutes before she needed to leave. Family friendly eating is not an option here. She was a quiet 12 yr old girl causing no trouble that spent the rest of the evening apologising for the blatant disregard and compassion of this restaurant. Pizzas are great and we have visited numerous times but this has almost certainly assured that we will not visit again. Anatolian grill up the road on the other hand fantastic and very family friendly.

I really loved the feel of the place. Arrived at 8.30 on a Friday. My fave cocktail wasn't in the list. The staff had no issue fixing this and getting me what I wanted to drink. Love this liitle beauty. Fantastic staff x
