   We’ve just been for my partners birthday meal. And wow. The food was outstanding but the care from the staff was next to none. Amra showed us so much interest and attention including even keeping my 1 year old entertained whilst I had to nip outside for a minute. The price is very reasonable I was expecting it to be much more. Also thank you to the bar staff. My baby was fussy so I went up to ask them to fill my son’s bottle with cows milk and they refused to charge me. Super kind of you all. Thank you for having us xx

   Took over an hour for the meal which was ordered in advance to arrive. When it arrived parts of it was cold. The food presentation was lovely but definitely not tasty. Table of 14 and only 3 people said their meal was okay. They had burgers. The portions were tiny. The beef rib was extremely poor quality. It looked lovely you cut it and found just a complete plate of fat. It was awful to look at. I felt sorry for the two that had ordered this as part of a £40 three course meal. They went home starving. This was my third time at Hamiltons. I've never known the food to be so bad but then I've only previously attended there for brunch. I won't go there again. Well presented food is not enough.

   Very nice place warm and comfy MY wife had sea bass and enjoyed it.I had chicken burger very little chicken poor bap not worth it. We both had chocolate cake for a dessert small portions I am still laughing at my custard it came separately in a egg cup not even half full it just covered a table spoon in total very disappointed. We have been several times in the past will be giving it a miss for a good while.

   We visited this evening for a family meal, as visiting family in Manchester from Kent.. Great place, but if you want to hold a conversation over dinner, then a Saturday night was not the time to visit! They have a great selection on the menu and a kids menu available. We were told the DJ would start at about 9, but you couldn't hear each other speak over the music from when we arrived at 7.. the staff were really friendly and accommodating.. Great atmosphere, but it can not decide if it's a restaurant or a bar! We all enjoyed our food.

   Very disappointed. We have visited Hamilton’s on several occasions, but our visit last night was extremely disappointing. Having booked a table weeks in advance, for 7.30pm, we were told on arrival that we had just 5-10 minutes to quickly look at the menu and order our food, as the kitchen closed at 8pm. Food orders needed to be in before 7.50pm. This would’ve been fine if we had known this prior to the booking - we could’ve arrived earlier! We were greeted by a man who was almost ranting at us to ‘order quickly’ as the kitchen was closing. Not a very welcoming reception. Once ordered, we were told (by a very nice lady called Katie) that we could relax now and that the bar was open until 10pm, so no rush. This was not the experience that we got though. The same man from the start - called Max - began rushing us to eat our food and even attempted to take my plate away while I was still eating my meal! He told us on several occasions that the bar was closing and was continuously rushing us along. We were trying to celebrate a special birthday, so we were hoping for a relaxed evening, but we were made to feel like we were in the way. At 9.15pm, Max came over, once again, offering us the bill and asking if ‘we were all done’. He asked us this alot! I asked about the bars closing time, as were wanting coffees, and were told, ‘usually 10pm is closing time but if it’s quiet like this, we can get closed up earlier and get out’. We felt very unwelcome, so decided not to order another round of drinks. I spoke to Katie, who had been very pleasant all evening, about the rude man. She said he might’ve been grumpy as he had been on shift all day, but also that that wasn’t an excuse and apologized on his behalf. For the first time in 25 years, my husband refused to pay the service charge on our meal. It was a very frustrating evening and sadly that was our last visit to Hamilton’s.

   I had eaten here before during lunch hours and it was fantastic. Unfortunately, we were really disappointed with the quality of food and service this time. Granted it was a Saturday evening and very busy, but the food we ordered wasn’t up to scratch for the price. Chips were undercooked and soggy, meat was over cooked and tasted as if it had been sat on the plate for a long time before being served. Both started and mains were barely warm. Sadly, we were very dissatisfied with our meals, the lack of enthusiasm from some of the staff members serving us and the extremely loud atmosphere at 6pm whilst trying to enjoy our meals.

   A group of 5 of us came in for lunch and were made to feel very at home. The hosts, bartender, waitresses and chefs are all incredible. And the food is even better. It was nice to see the restaurant fully booked on a Friday afternoon. We have been a few times before but we will definitely be back soon.
