We came here as a group of 10 for lunch and were served politely and efficiently. Everyone's food was lovely. Prices were OK overall: lunch dishes were good value as portions were huge; brunch dishes less so, with extras being quite dear. Range and price of drinks was reasonable. Word of warning: a potato cake might not mean what you think it means. Here, it's a battered scallop. This is nobody's fault, but you could get a bit of a surprise (albeit a tasty one)!

Did a quick Google search and this place was about 5 miles from where I was , plenty of places local to where I was, searched for brunch, I wasn't disappointed, everything was superb, the breakfast was excellent, all quality stuff, place is bright and airy, service was second to none, nothing too much trouble, staff are brilliant, just the right level of service, will definitely be looking forward to a second visit when I'm passing this way again, *****

Great food, well cooked. One of the best salmon dishes I have had, no pinkness. Reasonably priced as well. Both dishes were still hot on delivery, not always the case elsewhere. Staff friendly and realised and apologised when the drink order was delivered incorrectly . Minor quibble though. Very busy as well so booking recommended. Definitely go back.

Lovely food. Who charges £2 for 1/2 hot and cold water!!! Asked to speak to a manager and nobody could be bothered to come over. Apart from that lovely waiter and food!

A very nice place to visit for breakfast. I had the ‘full English’ which was excellent - large portions of all the right ingredients. Beans not exactly to my liking, neither the method of serving tea, but for most people they would probably be OK. Excellent service by a happy, cheerful and well organized waitress. Decent value for money.

Live just around the corner from here and so lucky to have it on our doorstep. Visited for brunch today and it was amazing as usual. Lots of choice for veggies, I had the veggie brekkie and it’s so so good! Staff are really friendly. Only negative I could say is the price of drinks is a little expensive, in comparison to the food prices which are really reasonable for the quality and quantity you receive.
