My partner, Steven and I whilst in passing, decided to call into this venue as Steven's favourite food, happens to be Chinese also. Once in there, lovely seating and comfortable looking also. I've given the atmosphere 5 stars, as I like private dining and whilst no one else was in there, when we went in, it did feel like that then also. I do prefer places that are quiet and not rowdy, in any way, if it's an open plan restaurant. I know from dining in some of the Wetherspoons venues previously, they have been a bit loud and the lighting was very bright, in some of them too but was enough in this Chinese restaurant instead, when it had gone dark., not too bright. The food was nice, I've had better and worse also. The price was a little expensive for us both, around £23 for a starter and main dish there., I had a vegan starter, whilst Steven had a sweet 'n' sour chicken dish and paid extra for egg fried rice, it seems too. We didn't know, until we got the bill, it was extra for the rice, as well. We'll bear that in mind ahead, it was a little expensive but would go there again, at some point ahead perhaps.

This was my first time to get takeaway here and the service is quick, but the hygiene is disgusting. We found a nail (or something like it) in the special fried rice, that is very special indeed and a piece of paper stuck to the ribs. That’s completely unacceptable. I won’t be coming back.

So disappointing!!! Ordered from here for the first time because our usual was closed and it will definitely be the last! It took an hour and a half for it to be delivered (on a Wednesday) and the food was beyond mediocre. Stale “salt and pepper” chips with zero flavouring, extremely thick curry sauce in a half empty tub, the chicken was okay but nothing special (and cold) and the egg fried rice was basically sticky starchy boiled rice. It’s just a shame given how expensive Chinese takeaways are… what a waste of money.

Sunday all you can eat menu needs to be thought out better. Not allowed to let others at your table try your food, even though your paying for it. There was so much waste as staff were watching and told us "NOT TO SHARE, OR WE WOULD BE CHARGED" We get it if we had only ordered 5 meals between 12 of us but we had all ordered meals We were told we had to buy 2 kids meals, even though children under 2 wouldn't eat a full meal. One is autistic and will only eat tiny bits. One member of staff was extremely rude and stood staring at our table while we were eating, which was pointed out to the manager who was lovely and helpful and she sorted the issues out On a positive note...the food was lovely, fresh and tasty and well worth the price

Being in my early 40s now and having many Chinese takeaways over 3 decades, this is absolutely hands down our favourite Chinese and the only place we get from now! As you can see in the pic the sweet and sour chicken melts in the mouth, very generous portions such as the salt and pepper chicken which is our favourite starter, super friendly and efficient staff and very reasonable prices, cannot recommend highly enough! Lovely extensive menu. Food was pretty good at a reasonable price too . Not many people in, sign of the times I suppose. Recommended.

As a Cantonese, I guarantee you will have proper chinese food and restaurant experience in this dining room. You will constantly see locals and Salford Royal staff ordering food or simply dine here.

Out competes any Chinese restaurants (including China town) for its Pure Quality of food, Portion sizes and service. Extremely Flavourful, without doubt a 5 star restaurant!

Takeaway food has always been nice. Eat in buffet on a Sunday was tired and boring. Not fresh or zingy. Decor is OK but drags down the atmosphere a bit. Young waitresses are lovely but older lady rather miserable unfortunately.

The food was superb. As you could see in the video and photo, I cleared the plates. I even requested for a take out. Service was excellent and absolutely great value for money. Oh yes, the waiter was professional.
