We were hungry and just wanted to grab some food before our old trafford tour starts at 2pm. It turns out both the service and food at Red Cafe were so delicious! What a sweet surprise! Please try the beef chilli nachos!
The café is nice! They have chairs with famous players’ names printed on the back, and my kids had fun spotting their favorite ones. There’s also a proper, real football table — £1 per game. The food was great for a café/fast food standard, but the service was really poor. It seemed like none of the staff were happy to be there, and it took forever for anyone to come to our table.
The red cafe is a great place for food with various options all of which are very nice particularly the double burger however the service by ‘Rita’ was abysmal she stood at the table without saying anything until we ordered which to be honest wasn’t a major issue as I had already decided before arriving however I asked for a Fanta and got a half hearted response from Rita who didn’t even bother looking at us instead observed the entirety of the restaurant while stating ‘no Fanta only orange juice’ so I instead ordered coke and moved on with my life only for moments later her to take the table situated beside us order in which they ordered and received Fanta. Now, a note is that the meal was pre booked which may not include a Fanta which is strange but possible but even if this is the case to have this explained would be nice not to half the most ignorant, half a brain human in the building serving us. The only reason the review is as high is down to the actual genuinely nice staff that work alongside this waste of space ‘Rita’.
I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better person than Macory to celebrate my son Liam’s birthday with. From the moment we walked into the Man Utd Red Café, he made us feel so special. He had the table set up beautifully and was there every step of the way, making sure Liam and his friends were happy, excited, and truly enjoying themselves. The kids absolutely adored him — and the other parents were just as impressed by his kindness and care. He went above and beyond in every single detail, and because of him, Liam had the most magical day. Thank you, Macory, for giving us memories we will treasure forever.
The seating Space is huge with bar as well as restaurant seating. It is connected to the museum so you can head there right after the tour. Menu is decent with all sorts of options. Loved the pizza, although only one standard size is available.
A must-go for all football fans. There were not much customers in breakfast time, because visitors usually dash to the museum then the cafe. You can avoid the crowd and enjoy the food without pressure if you go early. Food was hot and delicious.
Wandered in for a sit down and a coffee after doing the museum tour. Nice ambience for Manchester United fans, with nostalgic artwork and decor all over the place. Coffee was ok, kids enjoyed their hot chocolate. Servers were friendly enough. They made an extra hot chocolate by accident and then disposed of it, which seemed a bit wasteful to me. I didn't try anything else on the menu as it was just a brief stop to rest our legs. I did see a few people having a beer, so it has a licensed bar.
After a wonderful time at the Museum and Stadium Tour, we went for lunch at the Red Cafe. Didn't have to wait for a seat but waited for a bit after ordering even when there were just a few customers. We ordered the sweet curry and grilled vege wrap which were both surprisingly good!
We had a excellent restaurant experience at Red Cafe. The service was very kind and the we did not miss anything at all. The food was way beyond what we had expected but how it should be. We hope you will enjoy it as well.
