   We’ve tried others but can’t beat a chicken run for consistently good food, great portion size and taste. We got 2 large curry mutton with steamed veg, rice and peas. Was good today and didn’t get a dumpling but will always come here when I don’t feel like cooking x The meat was melt in mouth with plenty of carrots and potatoes. Rice and Peas was really fresh and thankfully no sugar in it, like iv noticed other places seem to be adding lately. Only regret is not buying oxtail as well lol x

   First time here. Food ok had the chicken split but my jaw is hurting now from chewing more bread than the filling. Wings were very small. Service was very slow non existent and shouting / screaming staff. The place was very clean. Card machine supposedly plays up aswell which needs to be addressed. The staff play dumb I have been queueing to order for some time and even though I'm stood right Infront of them they shout "whose next" looking at other people but me

   Having seen the food review club give it a 9/10 I was keen to try. Its a popular place and there was a small queue when I arrived. I had the chicken split and it was pretty average. Not for me.

   Order curry goat with rice and peas, a dumpling. Also a chicken split meal. Curry goat cook well and fell off the bone.was nice but lacked a kick in terms of flavour. Also not enough sauce for the amount of rice provided. Chicken split had very little flavour to the chicken in the dumpling, small portion of fries thrown in and a hot wing.

   I have been going to Chicken run for at least a year plus i drive from Preston 30 miles away on 5 occasions now the food has been awful dry chicken,stale rice hardly any vegetables just shredded cabbage,it seems as though if the server knows your from out of town they give you yesterday's food,my daughter had fried chicken and chips chicken cold,chips overdone i have spent over £170 over the course of my visit with my daughter helping my own people try and do well. Today is my last visit.

   I know they say Jamaican takeaways staffs are hardly friendly but the young lady that served me needs some customer service skills and will do no wrong. A group of customer payments didn’t go through, when they realised the customers were already in their car, I offered to go and get them to return, which they did, came back, not even a Thank you. Got served, had no smile, no politeness, and asked where was the cutlery, couldn’t even look at me and replied, just pointed. Anyway.. if the food was beyond anything else I had tasted before, I would come back… but average food and bad customer service… surely won’t.
