I met up with family for a Christmas get together, usually the food is great unfortunately I was disappointed on this occasion. My daughter in law had to send her meal back, my vegetables were hard not edible. Service was not the best, staff looked miserable. I don't think we will be going here again anytime soon, very sad as it is usually a very welcoming place with a great atmosphere.

Stumbled on this place by chance- it was mentioned as a landmark to a local shop we had travelled to. So when we arrived early for our appointment we popped in for coffee - and liked it so much we decided to come back for lunch. The place was very busy (seemed to be a popular venue for corporate Christmas gatherings) but notwithstanding, the staff were unfailing smiley and polite. Super warm and cosy, literally and figuratively! The food was exceptional. My Dad is quite frail and generally disinterested in what he eats so we were completely taken aback when he finished his plate and chose two puddings, one a vast portion of apple crumble with ice cream and custard and other a delicious confection of mince pies which the staff very kindly packed up for him to enjoy later. So touched by their professionalism and thoughtfulness at going over and beyond for all of us. We had a lovely afternoon. It really is a little gem of a place.

A party of 8 of us had the festive menu today. We were shown to a a beautifully laid table complete with Christmas crackers. We come here regularly, and are always welcomed with a smile and friendly service. The food was excellent as was the service - a great start to the Christmas season.

Lovely little pub, nice decor, atmosphere and staff. Really big portions of food, and the fish was huge! Lovely dessert, very clean, warm and welcoming. Will be returning!

We had the festive menu. The turkey, fish and beef options were very nice, but the vegetarian ravioli was dry with not enough sauce. The staff were very nice and friendly.

One of the nicest Sunday roasts I've had. Flavourful meat and delicious veg for a good price. The Yorkshire was lovely. The stuffing should be larger. Staff very friendly and attentive.

The food here has been disappointing every time that Iβve ordered it, with hard chips being part of my first meal hereβ¦ but the atmosphere, and the lightsβ¦ as well, as the selection of drinks are all good so I donβt want to give anything less than 3 stars. I also like a lot of the decorations tooβ¦ so basically itβs cool to look at, be in, and drink inβ¦ but they probably shouldnβt be serving food at all with the stuff Iβve been served, otherwise Iβd probably give this place 5 stars

Popped in after visiting Tatton Park. Seated quickly and drinks ordered after 10 mins. Food ordered 5 mins later. Then over 30 mins to get our food. The food was lovely. Toilets were being fixed, but both the disabled and gents were filthy.
