   First visit tonight. Best chippy I have been to in Altrincham. Chips were good, batter on the fish had a good crisp/crunch without being over done. Peas and gravy decent and the curry sauce was really nice. Got there when it first opened for dinner and it was busy straight away which is a pretty good sign. Staff all really friendly and obviously know some of the regulars from the conversations they were having.

   If you’re ordering more than 3 items I suggest you double check your order before leaving. I’ve visited Timperley Fish Bar 3 times in over an 12month period & Twice they left me & my workmates short- 1st time was a portion of chips & 2nd time was 2 x large gravy. The trouble is they have 2 people on service both looking after your order & not much communication between the 2 Hope they can sort their issues out because the food there is always good. But I’m afraid I won’t be going back.

   I've not had a chippy tea for a long time, and I've not been to this chippy for ever longer. Just getting over the flu I couldn't be bothered cooking so thought I'd go for Fish & Chips. It was a great decision, Im not sure if this place has a new ownership in the last few years but the Fish & chips with mild curry sauce was 10/10. Very impressed, give it a go!

   Went here last night had fish regular chips and peas. The chips were like double cooked triple cooked or whatever you call it , fish melt in your mouth with lovely soft light batter but with a crunch, peas lovely. Who needs the seaside that's all I'm saying you would of thought it was coastal seaside it was that good and the staff were all friendly hats off to this place will definitely be back and just 2 miles away me.

   Just had a fish , chips and peas dinner for me and husband. Fish was fantastic. Large piece with lovely batter very impressed , chips are lovely definitely recommend.

   Food was delicious when we tried last week, best in the area by far. Used to love the Good Catch in Hale but Timperley fish bar was far better. Can't wait for Chippy Tea tomorrow night

   Without doubt this is the best place to go in the surrounding area. The fish is always fresh and deliciously cooked in batter that is always crispy. The chips are double cooked for that crisp outer shell and delicious fluffy potato inside. All the gravy, curry and peas are also top notch and the pies are fresh too. I can't recommend this place enough.

   So happy to have found this place; twice I’ve had fish & chips from there now and it is the best fish & chips I’ve ever had. Usually when ordering fish & chips from places, I will eat the fish and a few of the chips and bin the rest. On both occasions, I have actually enjoyed eating the chips as well as the fish, as the chips in this place are perfection itself! The fish is freshly cooked to order and they don’t hang around, they’re ‘on it’ as soon as you’ve placed your order. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
