I wasn’t too impressed by Zizzi in the Trafford Centre. I’ve visited a couple of times over the years and returned recently for the first time in almost a decade after they served me a regular pizza after asking for a gluten-free one. In my most recent experience, I went for the Carbonara. I did find service to be a little slow, and I had to wait longer than I would have liked to pay. The pasta wasn’t the best — I’ve had a lot better and even prefer the Marks and Spencer ready meal. The meat was low quality and slightly chewy; there were some nice flavours though, so it had potential. I do find this place to be pretty pricey, especially for a mall chain Italian, which isn’t really somewhere you’d dine by choice unless you were shopping in the Trafford Centre.

I had one of the worst dining experiences ever at Zizzi in the Trafford Centre. I ordered a signature dish and it was a complete disaster. The chicken was undercooked, the food had a terrible smell, and the portion size was ridiculous for the price. Everything about it felt cheap and poorly made. What made the experience even worse was the staff. Their behavior was shockingly unprofessional and came across as outright racist. They were slow, dismissive, and treated us with zero respect. It was clear they had no interest in providing decent service. For a place that charges premium prices, this was unacceptable. I left feeling disgusted, disrespected, and ripped off. This is by far the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. I will never come back, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place.

Me and my mum went to zizzi on a Sunday afternoon ( expecting it to be busy but pleasantly surprised and was quiet plus school holidays) I had a free birthday meal to use and have been meaning to go to zizzi for a while so perfect opportunity Prior to going already knew what I was getting the vegan aubergine meatball pizza and 6 layer lasagna ( both cooked to perfection and went very well together!) The pizza had a spicy kick , super thin base and delicious toppings while the lasagna had a unique layers with a rich tomato sauce , pesto and crispy kale ( if seen in supermarkets and been tempted to buy from the freezer but glad I had in store ) The service was professional, welcoming and super good with allergens , overall a great time and highly recommend For families , dates , solo the perfect meal that’s reasonably priced , have a range of offers and deals plus if you get the app get perkz like this so the bill was 1/2 price and came to 2 for 1 on mains plus had a cider

The Food Was Amazing, the garlic bread with cheese was buttery and cheesy 10/10. The Garlic Meatballs were just as nice the waiter made it less spicy for me, it still had a kick but was much better. Got alot of pasta for the price, I would have liked more meatballs as they were so good and a bit more Cheese. But the food including the pizza was Amazing. The Waiter Was Exeptional, He was so helpful and friendly. Eveyting Was Good Portions and very filling. I even took some Home with me. We would definitely be Back 11/10

My wife and I were genuinely impressed by our recent visit to Zizi. Even though we arrived close to closing time, the staff still welcomed us warmly and made sure we were served without any rush. The food itself was good — not particularly different from nearby competitors, but everything was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. What truly stood out to us was the service. The waitstaff were absolutely outstanding — incredibly polite, professional, attentive, and kind. Honestly, it felt like they were doing their job the right way, which is sadly rare these days. We left feeling grateful and impressed. Please value your staff — they were flawless, and we really believe they deserve some sort of recognition or even a bonus. People like this make all the difference in the customer experience. We also appreciated seeing the calorie content listed on the menu, which was a thoughtful and helpful detail when choosing where to eat. We visited on Saturday, June 21st, and we’ll definitely be coming back — if for no other reason than to support the amazing staff. We were in a bit of a hurry and didn’t manage to leave a tip in person, but it would be great if the restaurant provided QR codes or links to tip digitally, so we could still show our appreciation afterward. Thank you again for the hospitality, the food, and above all — your incredible team!

We visited Trafford Centre the other day, and Zizzi seemed like a good option for lunch. Pizza was great and as expected. We also tried the chorizo carbonara and definitely a tasty choice. We got a small salad dish, which was not up to the same standard. Overall, good option for lunch if you find yourself around Trafford centre.

Uncooked food, staff couldn’t care less. No apology offered or compensation. In fact, they tried to impress me by saying the manager has agreed to take the uncooked food off the bill. Like I was going to pay for it anyway! As per picture, king prawns came out grey and uncooked right through. Wife had an upset stomach for the remainder of the night after eating a king prawn. Mains arrived looking like they had been under a heat lamp for 30 minutes. Pork meatball pasta consisted of mushed up pork and no actual meatball. Chorizo linguini was dry with hardly, if any chorizo in the meal, just a tiny piece of Parma ham on top. Overall really poor experience and won’t be returning to Zizi in a hurry. Bill came to £65 (minus £8 for the uncooked prawns). Pasta was £15 each which was rubbish.

We had some vouchers from our Tesco Club Card so we went to Zizzi after shopping. When we walked in we were told they were out of dough, so any pizza meal or garlic bread was off the menu, which was quite disappointing. However the pesto and tomato ciabatta was very nice, as were the olives. The chicken rigatoni was a decent sized portion, and tasted good. The wild boar meatballs had a good taste, but the dish was quite wet at the bottom. The loaded fries came and were luke-warm, which again was quite disappointing. Overall it was an okay experience, just a shame there was no dough as I enjoyed the calzone last time I went.

Update: After complaining to head office. They took my complaint very seriously. They gave me a free complimentary meal for two, and it was fantastic! I can not fault them I will pull up the star rating to a four the only thing letting them down was the previous experience I’m afraid. Absolute joke! Fully booked up but the restaurant is empty!! The staff were rude and she rolled her eyes at me then proceeded to talk down to me. Then they said “there’s nothing that can do,” well open up the seating area for a start. I then laughed and thought she was being sarcastic, she shrugged and gave me a blank stare. She was incredibly rude!! Please train your staff properly. They are no different from the the people that work at McDonalds, KFC, Burger King or Subway. Actually the people who work at the other venues are friendlier. It’s too bad I didn’t get a of her name, so I could name, she’s a bad representation of your company. She was utterly useless and incompetent, please replace her with a cardboard cutout, you could get more sense out of them. She was a little Vietnamese girl. Please keep a close eye on her and make sure she’s does not “greet” the customer.
