   Overall a very good sushi restaurant, in the last 3 years I have probably been close to 30 times. A genuine hidden gem of sushi. I have gone out my way to travel close to 30km one way across London just for some sushi here. I have unfortunately felt the pinch of the economy over the years in this place however I still visit it just the same. Sure, a lot of connoisseurs would turn their noses up at a place like this because of it being basically a take-away inside an indoor mall in a low-income high-crime corner of East London. This place is my top 3 Sushi restaurants in the UK and undoubtedly my number 1 if you want to be full, on good sushi, with it closing in a double-digit bill. Location is convenient, close to public transport. Service is straight to the point and simple, just like all good food is. Wait times are always good and I have never been let down by this place. There is something about this place that other sushi restaurants simply miss the mark on, always perfectly fresh and crispy cucumbers on the philadelphia roll. Some dishes I highly reccomend: Salmon maki, avocado maki, all the Inari, Philadelphia roll, salmon onigiri, sweet and sour chicken, chicken katysu curry, prawn tempura, miso soup and the sushi cuttings!

   I absolutely love the place, the food too! I visited today and ordered the teriyaki chicken and rice and it was absolutely delicious, just like described on the menu. I definitely recommend going!

   I can not lie, I actually went here for takeaway by accident, I meant to go to the other sushi place on the other side of the mall. However, the service was polite and friendly from the cashier, cooks, and staff in the background were just getting on with getting the food out and seemed nice enough. The food was nice, I ordered Chicken Teriyaki rice bowl and Chicken Katsu Curry Rice bowl along with a super salmon and tuna set of sushi and 4 vegable gyoza. All were tasty, and the food stayed hot in the containers for a good 40 mins until I got home, which was excellent. So why no 5 star review for the food. Well, because it was just nice. Nothing special, you see, I judge places on the Chicken Katsu Curry if you just serve me fried breaded chicken in curry sauce then its just OK. If you go Japanese Canteen style and put carrots, potatoes and other bits in with the dish then you get top marks. So I couldn't give top marks on this occasion but change the recipe and maybe I can change my mind. Worth a try if you are hungry in the area. Choice of drinks limited could definitely do better, you're not a builders cafe introduce some fruitiness into people's lives through drinks too.

   Always fresh. Mouth watering. Easy access from town centre. Ideal after your gym workout to satisfy your cravings. Don't forget about hint of wasabi to wake you up. If you prefer something more substantial chicken catsu curry with rice is another alternative. Lazy to come out ? They do deliveries too. Highly recommended.

   A really nice place to go to during lunch. The food is at a great value £5 (a bowl) and is very flavoursome. The food isn't oily either and is served by friendly staff! The decor is cool too adding authenticity to eating in. I have eaten in and out and is a great option. Can't wait to try more of the menu Japanese wings sound interesting unfortunately it was out of stock when asked. They have lots of sushi available too. Definitely recommend if your shopping at Romford...
