This was our first time at Royal Balti House. We had really high expectations since we had read so many wonderful things - from best Indian Restaurant to best restaurant full stop; and of course all the awards. I can say it definitely did not disappoint. This was the best Indian food I ever had! I can also share that I usually have a sensitive stomach, but felt great after eating here, no issues unlike other restaurants I have been to that serve this type of food. Just a token of how high quality their food is. We all absolutely loved it and before even leaving, we were already talking about coming back and trying more items of the menu. We also ordered so much and it was so reasonably priced. Besides the food, the staff made us feel like we were at home. All incredibly kind, funny, and so polite. They just talk to you like you're family which is so refreshing. It was also one of my friends' birthday and though they only heard about it at the end immediately gave her a balloon, card, and cake. It was so incredible, you just don't see places like this anymore. They even took a photo of us which made us so happy

We had a great meal at The Royal Balti House for my Dad’s birthday. There were four of us, and from the moment we walked in we were made to feel really welcome. The staff were friendly, attentive, and added a few nice touches that made the celebration feel special. The food was excellent, full of flavour, well-cooked, and served nice and hot. Everyone at the table enjoyed their dishes, especially the baltis, which were rich, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned. Portions were generous, and the service was quick even though the restaurant was busy. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable meal with a warm atmosphere and great food. A lovely place to celebrate a special occasion, and we’d definitely go back.

We've been coming to this place for 21 years and we've never been disappointed yet. The food is excellent. The restaurant itself is small, cosy and nicely decorated with two chandelier lights and ambient Bollywood piping at a nice volume from speakers in the corner. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The whole experience is always a pleasant one and the meals are rounded off with a free shot of whisky or Bailey's after the meal. This place is highly to be recommended.

Absolutely the best curry house! The staff are incredible and so friendly. I’ve literally never had a bad meal here and I’ve been coming for years. My son’s birthday was made so special today.

Still one of the best places to eat in Bolton. My wife who's British Pakistani and hates spicy food, loves the mild dishes they prepare. Award winning food and the best staff you'll ever meet!

We came first time last weekend to celebrate my partner's birthday. When we came they had complimentary balloon and card on table and free cake. The food was delicious and service was best ever had. Definitely coming back. Keep it up. Thanks for everything.

Very disappointed with our Xmas day visit today. Have been going here for Xmas for the past 10+ years and todays was the worst visit. First off all prices were hiked due to ‘cost of living’ all starters and sides £1 added and each main meal £2 on top of menu prices which is a permanent hike in menu prices , Making sides such as chips £4.65 per portion! Drink very expensive. £1.75 for a small glass of cordial, and large Coke £4.50! Hectic staffing. We ordered drinks that never arrived and added to the bill. Bottles drinks came with no glass or ice. Tandoori mix grill did not come on a sizzling platter as it has done previously and noticeably smaller portion. No courtesy drink at the end of the meal, again as always previously offered. No orange or hand wipes either Quality of service has dropped significantly to many previous visits. Added a £30 service charge when the service did not reflect this. Bill was very unorganised and difficult to break down costs of food etc. Cash payment only also which is annoying when you don’t know what the bill will come to and have to go to the cash machine up the road. Added bill for reference. * you will see that there are multiple 5* reviews from new accounts left the same day after mine, funny that, says it all really doesn’t it. Shame a business can’t accept negative feedback and learn from it .

Simply put, no other Indian compares! The service when sitting in is impeccable, and the food is top tier, you can see why they’ve won so many award. If you want a break between starters, mains, dessert, just say and they are happy to acquaint you. All the staff are so nice, attentive, great chat with the people on tonight. Well worth the travel from Horwich end! 5*
