   Excellent! Decided to have dessert here rather than worsley old hall. Fabulous decision, service amazing, friendly helpful staff. Dessert and coffee both delicious. Would definitely recommend.

   Another incredibly lunch today, with the added bonus of being able to sit outside in the sunshine to eat. The staff are amazing, always on hand to help and the atmosphere is so friendly and warm. I opted for the famous roast while my partner chose a burgher with salt and pepper chips… as always it was delicious and great value for money, we would definitely recommend trying it for yourselves, you won’t be disappointed :)

   Always gorgeous food, Great customer service, Friendly Dog friendly, Child friendly. Come in at least once a week and never disappoint!!!! Sundays absolutely fantastic from here too!!! Very very welcoming!!!

   I think the food has gone downhill since it changed hands. The food used to be really good value for money with home made tasting food. The cheese n onion pie was to die for. Sadly it's just a bog standard pie now with more pastry than filling. I went in with a friend just before Xmas. I booked just under a week before and was disappointed to be told the Xmas menu could only be chosen from if booked a week before. When we got there, those having Xmas menu food had dressed tables with crackers. We had a table where we were sat practically on top of the people on the next table with no alternative available. We felt like second class customers and the food I had; featherblade beef was far from feathery, it was tough. Nice mash and green beans though. Won't be wearing in there again unless the menu radically changes.
