Extremely average. Got 2 pizzas and both were quite soggy and overly cheesy as if they weren’t properly cooked. Not bad if it was a 2 for 1 deal or a cheap and cheerful takeaway but quite expensive for the distinctly average food
Delivery is always longer than most take aways as they use their own driver. Was quoted an ETA of 50-70 minutes for delivery. Finally came after close to an hour and a half later. App shown on route at correct ETA time but arrived 20 minutes later. I only live 5 minutes away! Ordered the special kebab box for 2. 2 thirds of the box was chips, the salad on top of the ships made them wet and soggy. Naan was different than their usual which was always shocking and this was no better. Hard and dry. Donner meat was also hard in places highlighting it was warmed up after cooking. This place was a hidden gem until new owners. Food and service has never been the same since.
Great food! I ordered my favorite pepperoni pizza and creamy pasta—both arrived warm in just 20 minutes. The taste was amazing, and the guy on the phone was super friendly. I’ll definitely be a regular from now on.
Such a shame the girl was lovely on the phone. The pizza is really wet toppings stuck on the box and it’s cold i literally live 1 mile from it but with children in bed at 8.30pm we ordered. Iv put half of it in the oven to see if that helps. The garlic bread is nice.
First and last time ordering from Marcos as reading the reviews before hand I’m very disappointed with the quality of the food the chicken supresa was supposed to be in a peppercorn sauce but resembled more of a yellow brown curry sauce it was very unappealing with no flavour my partner was very disappointed as he loves peppercorn sauce. The garlic bread seemed undercooked and cold. Overall disappointed given the amount of money spent. Would not recommend. Only good thing I can say is the delivery drive was friendly and on time
We have had numerous meals from Marco's but we were very disappointed with the latest. It was 2hrs & 10 minutes before the food arrived & when it did it was cold. I rang up after waiting 1hr & 20 mins to be told ours was the next to go out. 40 mins later I rang again to be told it had just left, when I questioned had our food been waiting for 40 mins for a driver I was told no, but it was obvious when the food came that it had been because it was cold. It's a shame as we've not had issues before & the kids love Marco's but a phone call from them to say they'd had a problem with an order & ours would be delayed would have been helpful.
the food we had is definitely restaurant quality as it was delicious. delivery was within the time they stated, delivery driver was very polite. portion size is more than adequate, if looking for good food at a decent price this is definitely the place to go, as long as you spend £12 or more it's free delivery aswell.
Absolutely delicious!! Restaurant-quality food! I've had Marcos takeaway a few times and it is always excellent. Piping hot, freshly cooked, delicious food. The best takeaway around for sure!
