   I recently visited this chippy and unfortunately had a very poor experience. The staff were inattentive and dismissive when taking my order. Despite clearly stating what I wanted, the order I received was incorrect. When I politely raised the issue, I was met with indifference and no offer to correct the mistake—just a helpless shrug. Customer service is just as important as the food, and in this case, both were disappointing. I would strongly encourage the management to retrain staff on basic communication and service standards, as this kind of experience puts people off returning.

   First visit in a while and they’ve massively upped their game since then. Can see they’ve invested a fair bit into the shop itself but the food really is outstanding. The small fish and chips is actually a generous and filling portion size, the fish is fresh with just the right amount of batter and the chips are really tasty too. The large fish really is massive! The staff are really friendly as well.
