Very disappointed mostly bones instead of meat, and dry to a point where tasted like was recooked leftovers. Plantains were cold and soggy. Adding some sauce would help everything was just below average.
Honestly, the food was beyond awful. Chicken dryer than a nuns.. The 24 hour marinated wings were a disgrace, dry and covered in cheap sweet chilli sauce. Very Caribbean. I'm almost certain the jollof rice was microwaved uncle Bens. Wouldn't feed it to my dog. Ordered from uber eats, who refunded me after seeing the photos. If I could give 0 stars, I would. AVOID.
Absolutely terrible customer service, first time trying and we waited over 2 hours when we rang to see where our order was after receiving a text to say it was on the way over 50 mins prior to be told it was on its way, WE NEVER RECEIVED IT! First and last time! Avoid this place.
Enjoyed the egusi and poundo, the aganyin sauce is really nice, has the Lagos naija taste. Thumbs up

Absolutely disgusted. Burnt chicken, stale rice, mac & cheese tasteless & the fried chicken was not fried & the tiniest chicken legs we had ever seen. We also had to wait upto an hour for the food. We will not be recommending or returning here.
This place is a little gem and the best around by far. My Favourite is the curried goat its absolutely delicious. I always order in shop and sit and wait while its ready. The staff are nice and friendly and its very clean... Try for yourself you will NOT be disappointed.
Honestly the best, tastiest and most authentic Jollof rice in Manchester! Great service, a lovely nature themed atmosphere & most importantly great food! The options of food are very diversified, which range from traditional Nigerian & Caribbean food to your everyday fried chicken & chips. Do not give this place a miss!!!
I just want to say say THANK YOU too the young lady "Tia" for cooking the best food I have eaten in a long time. All the food is freshly cooked and tastes amazing. I would definitely recommend ordering from there to anybody... if you haven't already tried the food from there I suggest you get ordering as soon as possible as you are missing out on the best food in Manchester...Thanks Tia see you soon
Having to bring back home delicacies is what i can always dream of. Love the traditional setting with nature breeze. Sitting in a clean and comfortable environment , perceiving the aroma of different dishes and taking a bite of every tasty meal...oh what else would I wish for . I love African food and Gurara Chops has it all.
